Objective: through CT guided rabbit lung VX2 tumor model making and CT guided rabbit lung VX2 tumor microwave ablation,contrast observation of rabbit lung VX2 tumor MWA in infrared thermal imaging performance,postoperative CT/MRI imaging and pathological manifestations,analysis of rabbit lung tumor microwave ablation focal infrared thermal imaging,magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)-CT-pathologic correlation.Methods: The healthy male New Zealand white rabbit was planted with VX2 tumor tissue in the lateral muscle of the bilateral hind leg,and the tumor strain was established as a tumor model of the lung VX2 tumor.Will 15 New Zealand white rabbit fixed in a CT scan on the bed,after anesthesia in CT guided puncture direction and depth,will reach the rabbit lung in 15 g needle into the needle,and needle core pushed VX2 tumor tissue block into the desired location,return the CT to observe whether pneumothorax after needle,if the presence of pneumothorax,with 20 ml syringe out rabbit gas inside the chest.After 25 days CT scan confirmed the tumor in the lung and executed 1 tumor rabbit randomly.Confirmed into the tumor rabbit in general anesthesia and sterile under conditions of CT guided percutaneous microwave ablation,with 17 g water-cooled microwave ablation needle along the setting Angle and depth gradually into the needle,intraoperative several scans puncture needle and spatial relationships,needle ablation tumor foci,connect water cooling loop,set the ablation parameters: 45 w output power,continue treatment for 3 min.MWA operation infrared thermal imaging temperature field data,real-time monitoring and acquisition MWA,postoperative row CT scanning to observe tumor ablation effect,to ground glass shadow will be completely covered,tumor edge 0.5-1.0 cm to melt completely beyond the tumor foci,if not to melt completely,to supplement ablation.The MRI scan was performed immediately after complete ablation of the tumor.After the examination,the tumor rabbit was executed and the histopathological examination was taken.In the process of MWA,In the processof recording MWA,the experimental rabbit body surface infrared thermal imaging 41?and 45?were the maximum diameter of the area.,and the corresponding values were analyzed with CT/MR.Postoperatively,the maximum diameter of MWA and ablation of the MWA were measured.The maximum diameter of the T2WI-fs high signal area of MWA and the maximum diameter of the coagulative necrotic area and the hemorrhage of the cells were measured and the control analysis was carried out.Results:In 15 rabbits,11 rabbits were successfully planted with isolated VX2 tumors.The CT scan indicated that there was a single nodular lesion in the lung,and the margin of the lesion could be seen to change in the superficial lobe.No obvious burr was observed,the longest diameter of the tumor was 10.3-13.1mm,and the mean diameter was about11.7±0.9mm.The pathologic confirmation of 1 tumorigenic rabbit was performed,and the remaining 10 solitary tumor lesions were guided by ct-guided microwave ablation.After the ablation of 8 lesions in 10 tumor lesions,the ablation of the other 2tumor lesions was not satisfactory,and after the ablation,the CT scan indicated that the polished glass was completely covered with ablation.The single ablation power was45 W,the ablation time was 3min,the ablation power was 45 W,and the ablation time was 2min.There was no obvious change in the size and morphology of the lesion of microwave ablation.Surface temperature of infrared thermal imaging detection hint at the start of the melt,the area surface temperature rising,the thermal field is roughly concentric rings by the central outward radiation,the highest temperature,melting is complete up to temperature peak,the highest temperature area surface average about46.82±0.32 ?,after the completion of the melting temperature gradually reduce;MRI scanning t1-vibe sequence showed a slight increase in the central signal of the lesion,and 9 cases showed significant increase in the central signal of the lesion.The T2WI-fs sequence showed a central low-slightly low signal in the ablation center,and a large slice of T2 WI high signal film was seen around the lesion.Statistics: there was a statistically significant difference between the intensity value of T1 WI and T1 WI after MWA.MWA lesions before T1 WI lesion diameter 45 ?,the infrared thermal imaging temperature field of maximum diameter and postoperative T1 WI MWA focal highsignal diameter and pathologically coagulation necrosis area diameter difference was statistically significant,while the MWA postoperative pathology and the diameter of high signal on T1 WI lesions coagulation necrosis area there was no statistically significant difference comparing the diameter;MWA CT scans after grinding glass covers the largest diameter and maximum diameter,infrared thermal imaging 41 ?temperature field around the high signal on T2WI-fs area biggest diameter and the pathological thermal damage area biggest diameter,the infrared thermal imaging 41 ?temperature field of maximum diameter and pathologically there was no statistically significant difference comparing the thermal damage area biggest diameter,others have statistical significance.Histopathological examination revealed that the tumor lesions in the 10 rabbit lung VX2 tumors were completely ablation after MWA.Conclusion:1.The postoperative evaluation method of CT immediate scan was convenient for lung tumor MWA.,GGO coverage of the lesion basically represents complete ablation of the lesion.2.Infrared thermal imaging can show the distribution of thermal field during microwave ablation,which can help to evaluate the range of acute thermal damage in the lung in real time.3.MRI showed that the range of acute thermal damage after microwave ablation of pulmonary lesions was highly consistent with the pathological results,and was an important means for the evaluation and efficacy evaluation of lung tissue thermal damage after MWA.4.Multimodality imaging is helpful for the diagnosis and ablation of microwave ablation.
