| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of compound glycyrrhizin capsules in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris and its effect on peripheral blood IL-17Methods:A total of 60 cases of psoriasis vulgaris who met the criteria were selected as study subjects and randomly divided into experimental group and control group each with 30 cases. The experimental group was given compound glycyrrhizin capsules combined with calcipotriol ointment and NB-UVB,and the control group was given calcipotriol ointment and NB-UVB.To observe the PASI scores at the 2nd,4th,and 8th weekends in the two groups of patients, determine the efficacy and record the related adverse reactions.and the IL-17 concentration in peripheral blood was measured before and after treatment in both groups of patients.Results:1.The effective rates of clinical treatment at the end of the 2nd,4th,and 8th week in the experimental group were 3.3%,43.3%,and 86.7%,respectively.In the 8th weekend,12 cases were cured,14 cases were markedly effective,4 cases were effective, and 0 cases were ineffective. The effective rates of clinical treatment at the end of the 2nd,4th,and 8th week in the control group were 3.3%,26.7%,and 60.0%,respectively,4 cases recovered on the 8th weekend,14 cases were markedly effective,11 cases were effective, and 1 case was ineffective. There was a statistically significant difference in the effective rate of clinical treatment between the two groups at the end of the 8th week(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two weekends and the 4th weekend(P>0.05).2.The PASI scores of the two groups at the end of the 2nd,4th,and 8th weekends were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison of PASI scores between the two groups during the 2 weekends and 4 weekends showed that the degree of decline in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group. However, there was no significant difference between groups(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in PASI scores between the 8 weekends(P<0.05).3.The IL-17 concentration in the peripheral blood of the two groups was lower than that before treatment in the eight weeks, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a statistically significant difference between the groups at the 8th weekend(P<0.05).And peripheral blood IL-17 levels were positively correlated with PASI scores.4.The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental and control groups was 6.7% and 10%,respectively.And there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compound glycyrrhizin capsules for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris can not only improve the efficacy, but also has high safety and is worthy of clinical promotion. The effect of compound glycyrrhizin capsule on peripheral blood IL-17 may be one of the effective mechanisms to treat psoriasis vulgaris.Further research on IL-17 may be a new idea for the treatment of psoriasis. |
