Clinical Study Of Combination Therapy Of Six Ingredients Decoction And Three Crude Drugs Decoction On Treating Post-infectious Cough

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of decoction of six ingredients and decoction of three crude drugs on pathogenic wind-evil linger lung-type of post-infectious cough in patients,comparing the clinical symptoms of cough,itchy throat,expectoration before and after therapy,and evaluating the safety.To provide an effective and feasible treatment ideas for seeking a more efficient and proper therapeutic program on treating the PIC.Method 72 patients with wind-evil linger lung-type of post-infectious cough from March,2017 to Jan,2018 in Jiaxing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Zhejiang Province were chosen as cases of the study.All cases were consistent with the diagnostic criteria for coughing in the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of coughing.Randomly divide them into two groups,36 cases per group.The ages and course of disease of these two groups have no statistical significance.The control group(take the Compound Methoxyphenamine capsule)was implemented the Western Medicine Therapy.And the treatment group(take decoction of six ingredients and decoction of three crude drugs)was implemented TCM.The two groups were treated 10 days as one course of treatment.By applying standard of the qualification of symptoms scoring,The symptoms and signs of these two groups before and 3 days,7 days and 10 days after therapy were quantified and scored,thus,the clinical efficiency was figured out.And then,to compare the total clinical efficiency of these two groups.Results 1.Clinical curative effect:after treatment,the Chinese medicine group total efficiency was 91.18%,west medicine group total efficiency was 88.57%,there is no statistical significant between the control group and treatment group(p>0.05).2.Clinical symptom score in treatment after 10 days in the two groups of symptoms of cough,sputum,pharyngeal itching score less than before treatment,with statistical significance(p<0.05).To improve the symptoms of cough and the pharangeal itching,there was no statistical significance(p>0.05).In the aspect of reducing sputum integral,the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group is superior to the western teatment group.Conclusion The therapeutic effect of TCM of decoction of six ingredients and decoction of three crude drugs is similar to the therapeutic effect of conventional Western Medicine treatment,both of the treatments can quickly and effectively relieve the symptoms of post-infectious cough and improve the quality of patients’ life.This TCM treatment,which has significant clinical effect and no obvious adverse reactions,provides a therapeutic idea for clinical treatment of wind-evil loving lung syndrome of post-infectious cough.
