Correlation Between Constitution And Pattern In 300 Cases Of Stage ? Chronic Kidney Disease

Objective We use the Traditional Chinese medicine physique scale to inspect the TCM constitution of patients of stage ? chronic kidney disease(CKD),discuss the distribution of constitutional types,and study correlation of TCM constitution type and TCM syndrome,to provides the theoretical evidence in developing related health maintenance and preventing disease for chronic kidney disease.Methods On the basis of informed consent,300 questionnaires of the standardization TCM constitution scale were given out.The respondents could fill out questionnaires themselves or assisted by investigators.Meanwhile,the general situations(including age,gender,primary disease and the course of the disease,etc.)and four diagnostic data of the respondents were recorded.The surveyors checked the data and confirmed the data.We used the TCM constitution rating scale method to determine physical types,and in line with the dialectical classification of state drug administration issued revised 2002 "Chinese medicine new medicine clinical research guiding principles" to finally abtain dialectical results.We established a database of all clinical data,calculated the percentage of the physique classification,concluded all physical composition of parting and the relationship between with sex,age,primary disease,and the correlation of the mass fraction with TCM syndrome types was studied.Results Traditional Chinese medicine physique take qi deficiency type,yang deficiency type,blood stasis type,and damp-heat type as the core.TCM syndrome type center on qi deficiency pattern,yang deficiency pattern,blood stasis pattern,and damp-heat pattern.The correlation analysis showed that qi deficiency type was significantly positively correlated with yang deficiency pattern,damp-heat pattern,qi deficiency pattern,blood stasis pattern,water-damp pattern and damp-turbidity pattern,yang deficiency type was significantly positively correlated with qi deficiency pattern,blood stasis pattern,yang deficiency pattern,water-damp pattern and damp-turbidity pattern,damp-heat type was significantly positively correlated with damp-heat pattern,yin deficiency pattern,water-damp pattern,blood stasis pattern,qi deficiency pattern and damp-turbidity pattern,blood stasis type was significantly positively correlated with blood stasis pattern,qi deficiency pattern,damp-turbidity pattern,yang deficiency pattern,damp-heat pattern and water-damp pattern,yin deficiency type as significantly positively correlated with yin deficiency pattern,yi deficiency pattern and damp-heat pattern(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion In the 300 cases of patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD)stage II,qi deficiency type,yang deficiency type,blood stasis type,hot and humid mass type are the most commom constitution types.And the patients' traditional Chinese medicine physique characteristics with different gender,age,primary disease are not the same.In addition,the constitution types and syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine are closely related.
