| Purpose:By observing the clinical efficacy of acupuncture plus moxibustion in the treatment of spleen-deficiency wet type obesity,we will seek more effective treatment methods and approaches for clinical treatment of the disease.Method: A total of 6O simple obesity patients from the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion at the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 1975 to January 2006 were selected according to the inclusion criteria of this study.Sixty cases of simple obesity patients were randomly divided into two groups,each with 3O cases.The treatment group was treated with acupuncture plus moxibustion.The control group was treated with moxibustion to treat spleen deficiency wet-type obesity.Result: In the treatment group(acupuncture plus moxibustion),3O cases were cured,11 cases were cured,10 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective,and 1 case was ineffective.The total effective rate was 96.67%,and the overt effect rate was 7O.OO%.In the control group(moxibustion treatment),3O cases were cured,8 cases were cured,6 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective,and 8 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 73.34%,and the obvious improvement rate was 46.67%.The efficacy of the treatment group(acupuncture plus moxibustion)was significantly better than that of the control group(moxibustion treatment).Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with moxibustion has a definite curative effect on simple obesity and is an effective conservative treatment for simple obesity.Through acupuncture and moxibustion treatment,the patient will not produce dependence,and has no toxic or side effects.The clinical application method is simple,the operation is simple,and has good clinical promotion value. |
