Objective: To observe the clinical effect of abdominal ginger mud cross moxibustion on simple-obesity patients who are obstruction type and be with spleen dampness, and studying the mechanism of abdominal mud cross moxibustion on simple obesity, and exploring various methods for clinical treatment of simple obesity.Optimize clinical treatment plan.Method: Sixty cases of simple-obesity patients with spleen deficiency and dampness were divided into a cross-moxibustion group(30 cases with cross-separation ginger sticking method)and a catgut embedding group(30 cases with acupoints embedding method).Four times of the treatment was regarded as one course of treatment;two continuous observation courses are needed. After treatment, the treatment effects of each group were evaluated, and the changes in obesity indicators and TCM symptom scores in the cross-moxibustion group and embedding group were compared. Results:After 2 courses of treatment, the total effective rate was 86.67% in the cross moxibustion group and 83.33% in the acupoint catgut embedding group. The total effective rate was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Obesity indicators of both groups were significantly reduced, and the clinical symptoms of TCM were significantly improved.Cross-moxibustion group had better effect on body weight, waist circumference and hip circumference improvement than embedding thread group(P<0.05).Cross-cut moxibustion group had significant curative effect on improvement of TCM symptoms(P<0.01).Conclusion: Both cross-moxibustion and acupoint embedding method have produced good clinical curative effect in the treatment of simple obesity patients with spleen deficiency and wet resistance. The cross-moxibustion method is superior to the embedding method in improving the clinical symptoms of TCM.
