| Objective:To observe the therapeutic effects of relaxing training combined with traditional Chinese medicine five-elements music therapy on sleep quality, fatigue and quality of life in community stroke patients. In order to enrich the rehabilitation and nursing program for stroke patients in the community. Methods:Sixty stroke patients in a community of Nanjing were selected. The patients were rando.mly divided into three groups:relaxation training combined with traditional Chinese medicine five elements music therapy group, relaxation training group and traditional Chinese medicine five elements music group. Each group has 20 cases. On the basis of routine nursing rehabilitation, the patients in the three groups were given relaxation training combined with traditional Chinese medicine five elements music therapy, relaxation training and traditional Chinese medicine five elements music therapy.Relaxation training includes pre-relaxation,breathing relaxation, progressive muscle relaxation and mental relaxation. The intervention were performed before noon break every day,20-30min/times,the intervention last for 4 weeks. The Pittsburgh Sleep quality Index(PSQI),Flinders fatigue scale(FFS)and Spitzer quality of Life Index(QLI)were used to investigate the sleep, fatigue, quality of life of the patients before and after intervention and at one month follow-up after intervention.Results:1.Comparison of baseline among three groups before interventionBefore intervention, age, sex, occupation, marital status, family per capita monthly income, medical payment methods, diagnosis type, course of disease, vital signs and other general data among three groups and the Pittsburgh Sleep quality Index(PSQI),Flinders fatigue scale(FFS),Spitzer quality of Life Index(QLI)were compared and analyzed by SPSS21.0.There was no significant difference(P>0.05),so the baseline was comparable.2.Comparison of PSQI scoresAfter the intervention, the PSQI scale scores of the three groups were all decreased, and there was a significant difference in the scores before and after intervention(P<0.001),and there was a significant difference between the three groups after the intervention and at 1 month follow-up(P<0.05).The curative effect of the comprehensive intervention group was better than that of the relaxation training group and the traditional Chinese medicine five elements music group3.Comparison of FFS scoresAfter the intervention, the FFS scale scores of the three groups were all decreased, and there was a significant difference in the scores before and after intervention(P<0.001),and there was a significant difference after the intervention and at 1 month follow-up(P<0.05).The curative effect of the comprehensive intervention group was better than that of the relaxation training group and the traditional Chinese medicine five elements music group4.Comparison of QLI scoresAfter the intervention, the QLI scale scores of the three groups were all decreased, and there was a significant difference in comprehensive intervention group before and after intervention(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the QLI scale scores before and after intervention and at 1 month follow-up(P>0.05).There was a significant difference between the D-value before and at 1 month follow-up after the intervention(P<0.05).The score of the comprehensive intervention group was improved significantly, which was better than that of the relaxation training group and the traditional Chinese medicine five elements music group. Conclusion:The comprehensive intervention of relaxation training combined with traditional Chinese medicine five elements music therapy can improve the quality of sleep and relieve fatigue symptoms of stroke patients in community, and the curative effect is better than that of using relaxation training or traditional Chinese medicine five elements music therapy singly. However, the efficacy of the three intervention methods in improving the quality of life needs to be further studied. |
