| ObjectivesTo investigate the current situation of mental resilience,mental capital and mental health of emergency nurses that they were in the top three general hospitals,and to analyze the differences of mental resilience,mental capital and mental health among different demographic and sociological data,and to explore the correlation among the three.MethodFrom August 2017 to June 2018,208 emergency department nurses from the top three general hospitals in Shandong Province were selected as research subjects.The questionnaires were used to describe the psychological resilience,psychological capital and mental health of emergency nurses.This paper analyzes the differences of mental resilience,mental capital and mental health among different demographic data,and probes into the correlation among them through descriptive research.SPSS 19.0 statistical software was used to perform the statistical analysis.The statistical results were statistically significant at P<0.05.The general information and psychological resilience,psychological capital,and mental health scores of nurses were statistically described by percentage,mean,and standard deviation.The differences in psychological resilience,psychological capital of different genders,age groups,and different positions were compared using t/F test.Hierarchical regression and Pearson correlation analysis were used to analyze the relationship between psychological resilience,psychological capital and mental health.ResultsThe amounts of questionnaires were 215 in this survey,and 208 valid questionnaires were returned,with an effective proportion of 96.74%.1.A total of 208 emergency nurse questionnaires were collected,aged ranged from 20 to 55 old,with an average age of 27.02±6.71 old,which the highest number of nurses age were 25-29 old,accounting for 35.1%.There are fewer male nurses,accounting for only 4.3%.In marriage status,which has been married accounting for 84.1%.The authorized personnel accounted for 35.6%,the contract position was 49.5%,and the personnel agency was 14.9%.The working years are mostly in 6-10 years,accounting for 36.5%.The undergraduate degree is the most,accounting for 84.5%.Among the professional titles,nurses accounted for 17.3%,senior nurses accounted for 37.0%,supervisor nurses for 39.9%,deputy director nurses for 5.3%,and director nurses accounted for 0.5%.The monthly income is mostly 5000-8000RMB,accounting for 51.4%.2.The emergency nurses’ psychological resilience score ranged from 8 to 40 points,with an average score of 27.35±4.32,of which 41 were 8-20 points,accounting for 19.7%,and 118 of 21-30 points were accounted for 56.7%,There are 49 people in 31-40 points,accounting for 23.6%.The t/F test was used to compare the differences in the psychosocial resilience data,the data were the sociology of different populations in the emergency nurses.The results showed that the psychological resilience level of the emergency nurses was different in terms of working years and professional titles,and the difference was statistically significance.However,the differences in psychological resilience levels for different ages of nurses,genders,education levels,and types of authorized organization were not statistically significance.3.The descriptive statistical analysis method was used to analyze the scores of the psychological capital scale in emergency nurses.The follow was the scores of the psychological capital in emergency nurses,self-efficacy(25.39±3.08),hope(24.13±2.48),optimism(24.01±3.16),and resilience(21.48±2.08).Among them,the self-efficacy score was the highest and the resilience score was the lowest.The t/F test was used to compare the differences in the psychological capital data that was the sociology of different populations in the emergency nurses.The results showed that the psychological capital level of the emergency nurses was different in ages,terms of working years and professional titles,and the difference was statistically significance.However,the differences of psychological capital levels in the nurses on different genders,education levels,and types of authorized organization were not statistically significance.4.The emergency nurses’ mental health scores ranged from 10 to 40 points with an average score of(23.74±3.07).According to the level of mental health,79 people with good mental health,accounting for 38.0%.The mental health level was generally 101,accounting for 48.5%.28 people with poor mental health,for 13.5%.5.Correlation analysis between psychological resilience,psychological capital and mental health of emergency nurses showed that there was a significant correlation between mental health K10 scores and psychological resilience and self-efficacy,hope,optimism and resilience of psychological capital(P<0.05).Conclusions1.The overall mental health of emergency nurses is general for higher work pressures,and with the increase of age or working years,the mental health level has a downward trend.2.The psychological resilience of emergency nurses is acceptable,and there are differences in working years and authorized organizations.3.The psychological capital level of emergency nurses is different on ages,working years and authorized organizations,which has a highest self-efficacy and a lowest resilience among the dimensionality.4.There is an obvious negative correlation among the scores of the mental resilience,mental capital and mental health that were in emergency nurses.The higher the level of mental resilience and mental capital of emergency nurses is,the healthier their mental state will be. |
