Objective:To observe the possible use of ashi point for the treatment of Lateral Humeral Epicondylitis by Twin Oblique Needling Acupuncture Technique.Hoping to assist future researchers.Methods:60 patients that were in accordance with inclusion criteria were randomly chosen and divided into two groups:the treatment group and the control group. Each group consists of 30 research subjects.Treatment group was treated by Twin Oblique Needling Acupuncture Technique, and the control group was treated by Tuina. Results:After treatment, treatment group received better effect than control group. The total effective rate was 90.00%in the treatment group, while 76.67%in the control group, and there is a significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).TCM syndrome grading score results were compared between two groups before and after treatment.Significant difference(P<0.01)between treatment group and control group was observed. Conclusions:Twin Oblique Needling Acupuncture Technique at ashi point can effectively eliminate pain in patients with Lateral Humeral Epicondylitis, hence improve life quality. This method has gone through multiple research experiments with no adverse reactions.Twin Oblique Needling Acupuncture Technique is helpful in the treatment of Lateral Humeral Epicondylitis. It is easy to operate, low risk and just a small medical expenses required. It is a method accepted by patients easily.
