Clinical Observation Of Treating Liver Swelter Type Of Herpes Zoster By Add-subtract Longdan Xiegan Decoction And Fire Needle

Purpose:To observe the efficacy of Add-subtract Longdan Xiegan Decoction And Fire Needle in the treatment of Herpes ZosterMethods:80 cases who were liver swelter type of herpes zoster were randomly divided into two groups,namely,treatment group and control group,40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with fundamental treatment(antiviral therapy,nerve nutrition therapy and drugs for external use)and add-subtract Longdan Xiegan Decoction.And,on this basis,the treatment group added fire needle.1 week to treatment course,follow up record of 1 and 2 month.Observe and record about rash such as time of reponse,scab form and decrustation,pain such as degree of pain relief,time of begin to remission and duration,Comprehensive curative effect and post herpetic neuralgia.Results:The treatment group were obviously superior to the control group on curative effect about rash and pain.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.50%.The overall response rate of the control group was 82.50%.Comparison has statistical significance.The rate of post herpetic neuralgia in the treatment group was 5%,and the control group was 30%.Comparison has statistical significance.Conclusion:The treatment with add-subtract longdan xiegan decoction and fire needle in liver swelter type of herpes zoster have advantages of promoting the recovery of rash,rapid pain relief,strong analgesic effect,low incidence of post herpetic neuralgia and safety and reliabilit.
