Clinical Observation Of Longdan Xiegan Decoction Combined With Zhitongsan In The Treatment Of Herpes Zoster

Background:Through our previous investigation and research,we found that the stagnation heat syndrome of the liver meridian is universal in herpes zoster patients.The treatment of stagnation heat of the liver meridian is the main syndrome,and the treatment of the main prescription may achieve better clinical results.Objective:To demonstrate the clinical curative effect of treating herpes zoster with stagnation of liver meridian as the main syndrome and modified Longdan Xiegan Decoction as the main prescription.Methods: We will randomly divide 62 patients with herpes zoster into treatment group(34 cases)and control group(28 cases).The treatment group is treated with Longdan Xiegan Decoction(Longdan Xiegan Decoction)plus Zhitong Powder(Zhitong Powder).The control group is treated with valaciclovir tablets in the treatment group.The therapeutic effect is observed for 2 weeks and the follow-up time is 1 month.The patients are invited to visit again in the first and second weeks of treatment and observe and record.Indicators were used to evaluate the comprehensive efficacy of treatment and pain relief.All patients were followed up for 1 month to observe the occurrence of sequelae neuralgia.Results: The treatment group had 34 patients,26 were cured,the cure rate was 76%,the total effective rate was 34,the total effective rate was 100%,the average VAS before treatment was 4.85(+1.16),the average VAS after treatment was 0.29(+0.58),the number of adverse reactions was 4,the incidence of adverse reactions was 11.76%,andthe residual neuralgia was 0;the control group had 28 patients,the cure rate was 21,the cure rate was 75%,the total effective number was 28,the total effective number was 28.The effective rate was 100%.The average VAS before treatment was 4.36+1.39.After treatment,the average VAS was 0.43+0.79.5 patients had adverse reactions.The incidence of adverse reactions was 17.85%.There were 0 patients with residual neuralgia.Conclusion:The treatment of herpes zoster is characterized by stagnation of liver meridian and heat syndrome.The effect of Longdan Xiegan Decoction combined with Zhitong Powder is remarkable.
