Establishment Of A Health Management Information Platform For Patients With Metabolic Syndrome

ObjectivesBased on the Chronic Care Model,Cross-sectional survey method and Delphi method are used to constructed a scientific,reasonable and effective health management information platform for metabolic syndrome patients,Which can provide a new way for future intervention.At the same time,it also provides reference basis for the establishment of other chronic disease health management platform.Methods1.A total of 220 patients with the metabolic syndrome who were hospitalized in the Department of Endocrinology and Cardiology of three hospitals were recruited from April 2018 to October 2018.The patients filled out the questionnaire to investigate the knowledge,usage,willingness and needs of Internet medical health management services.Statistical analysis with excel2016 and spss21.0 after data collection:The descriptive analysis were expressed by frequency and proportion.The single-factor analysis of the socio-demographic factors affecting the use of Internet medical services was performed by chi-square test,and the multifactor analysis was performed by binary Logistic method.2.Based on the survey results,literature review,panel discussion,the module content of the health management information platform for patients with metabolic syndrome was preliminarily determined,We made letters and confirm the experts of the consultation,two rounds of letters were made to 22 experts,on the basis of experts opinions,final module content of the health management information platform for patients with metabolic syndrome was determined-analytic hierarchy process was used to determine the weight of module content.Results1.A total of 220 patients with metabolic syndrome were enrolled.The awareness rate of Internet medical health management services among these patients with metabolic syndrome was 50.5%;the utilization rate was 71.4%;29.1%do not believe such services,believing that the services may reveal their personal privacy.Among the users,20.5%of patients use it frequently;50.9%of patients used the service through browser;41.7%of patients were pleased with online medical services.2.Social demographic factors related the use of Internet medical health management services in patients with metabolic syndrome.(1)Patients who did not use Internet medical services were statistically significant(P<0.05)in terms of age.cultural level,Internet time,occupation.primary caregiver,and economic source compared with patients in the use group.;(2)Logistic regression analysis showed that high cultural level and online time(1-3h)were the main influencing factors for patients to use Internet medical services.3.patients'demand for disease-related knowledge and lifestyle-related knowledge accounted for 75.9%and 77.8%respectively;The highest proportion of patients with functional requirements were online inspection report(84.6%).online appointment registration(85.4%)and disease consultation(83.2%),and the lowest demand proportion was the communication function of patients(49.6%).4.The rates of response of the two rounds of 22 experts were 100.0%and 90.9%respectively.The authority of two rounds of expert consultation is 0.839 and 0.835 respectively;After two rounds of consultation.We determined health management platform module contents with metabolic syndrome patients including 3 primary indicators,14 Secondary indicators and 60 tertiary indicators.5.Among the health management platform module contents:The weight of medical care port(0.493)was highest,The next is patients operation port(0.311),The last is administrator port(0.196).Conclusions1.Patients with metabolic syndrome use Internet medical health management services with low frequency,single access,low service quality,but high willingness to use and high demand.Therefore,we should build a professional and scientific health management information platform for metabolic syndrome,and design personalized health management schemes according to different demographic characteristics.Internet medical services still need to be improved.2.Based on Delphi method,this study constructed the module content of the health management information platform for patients with metabolic syndrome,which is scientific and reasonable.Therefore,it can be applied in clinical practice in the future to provide theoretical basis for future health intervention for patients with metabolic syndrome.
