Clinical Study Of Modified Wumei Pill In The Treatment Of Pancreatic Cancer

Objective:To broaden the theoretical basis and clinical cases of treatment of pancreatic cancer based on the clinical study of modified Wumei pill for pancreatic cancer(cold-heat miscellaneous type),and to provide more effective and safe treatment for pancreatic cancer(cold-heat miscellaneous type)by traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:All patients were hospitalized from the Department of Liver,Spleen and Stomach Diseases,Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2017 to January 2019.They were divided into two groups according to randomized and controlled grouping method.36 cases in the treatment group and 36 cases in the control group.The treatment group was treated with Wumei Wan Jiajianjian Decoction,twice a day for 150 mL,combined with Kanglaite Injection and once a day for 200 ml.The control group was treated with Kanglaite Injection only once a day for 3 weeks.Both groups were treated continuously for one course of treatment.The curative effect of the two groups on TCM symptoms,quality of life,pain intensity before and after treatment was evaluated by the criteria of curative effect.To determine and then observe the clinical efficacy of Wumei Pill in the treatment of pancreatic cancer(mixed cold and heat).Result:Compared with the control group,the TCM symptoms of the two groups were improved,but there was no significant difference between the two groups in the treatment of diarrhea,shoulder and back pain(P>0.05),and the other TCM symptoms were better in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05);the improvement rate of KPS score,NRS score and tumors in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The decrease of CA19-9 marker was better than that of control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:According to the above results,Wumei pill is effective in the treatment of pancreatic cancer(mixed cold and heat),which can not only relieve symptoms,improve quality of life,relieve pain,but also be safe and reliable.Through clinical observation,the characteristics and advantages of TCM’s holistic concept,syndrome differentiation andtreatment are further confirmed,and more effective safe treatment schemes are developed for the clinical treatment of this disease.
