| Objective: To generalize the morphological structure of the soft-skinned free margins of normal healthy adults, and to display and analyze the special morphological structures to provide meaningful data for clinical practice. Methods: 1 Randomly performed oropharyngeal photography in the adult population participating in the physical examination. The photos were in compliance with the requirements of 90 people, and the main related functional structures of the soft palate free margin were classified and summarized.2 The suspension of the soft palate found in the free edge of the physical examination Photographs are reserved for the special form of the squat.Analyze and discuss related issues.Results:1.The zygomatic arch of the free margin of adult soft palate can be divided into four types: double-bow wide-type,accounting for 40.00%;double-bow narrow-type,accounting for 50.00%;anterior arch, accounting for5.56% Cross type, accounting for 4.44%.2.The general forms of uvula are: long, slender, large U,small u,large V,small v,false V,true bifid(ie double sag),false dichotomy Type(ie,hanging sag).Among them, the small u type is more common, accounting for 31.11%,and the true bifid type(ie double hanging sag)is rare.3.The special forms of uvula are: hanging type, concealed type, dumbbell type, folding type, pasting type, and skew type. Conclusions: The free structures of the soft palate and the related structures of the free margins of the soft palate are diverse. In general, these diversity do not affect the physiological functions of the subjects that confer them.Certain forms may contribute to the formation of obstructive sleep disordered breathing. |
