| Objective: To observe the clinical characteristics and efficacy of the patients with wet age-related macular degeneration after anti-VEGF therapy,and to explore the factors influencing its therapeutic effect,so as to provide a basis for further clinical treatment.Methods: A retrospective study of 48 patients with Wet age-related macular degeneration who were diagnosed and treated with intravitreal injection of anti-VEGF drugs in the first affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university from October 2017 to October 2018,all patients were treated with 3+PRN.There were 33 males,15 females.And average age is 68.58±10.53.Comparing the clinical features of visual acuity,intraocular pressure,fundus examination and OCT examination before and after 3m?6m,treatment to intravitreal injection of anti-VEGF drugs,to determine whether the patients responsed.SPSS 21.0statistical software was adopted.Analyzing the factors that influencing the effect of anti-VEGF treatment in wet age-related macular degeneration patients with Logistic analysis and chi-square test.Result: Forty-eight patients with wet age-related macular degeneration were included in this study,after three consecutive injections,33 eyes(68.75%)were responseders,15 eyes(31.25%)were non-responseders.Among the non-responseders,11 cases of type?(57.89%),1 case of type ?(8.37%),3patients of mixed type(17.65%).No response rate of type ? CNV was relatively high(P<0.0167).Whether PED exists or not was related to the unreseponsiveness of Wet age-related macular degeneration patients after anti-VEGF treatment(P<0.05).However,age,sex,drug types,hemorrhage,effusion,ellipsoidal zone integrity was not significant related to response status(P>0.05).Conclusion: After anti-VEGF treatment,some Wet age-related macular degeneration patients still showed non-response,and the non-response rate of type ? CNV was higher than that of other types of CNV,which may require multiple injection. |
