Background:Neurogenic bladder(NB)of spinal cord injury(SCI)is a serious complication of spinal cord injury, improper management can not only affect the effect of rehabilitation treatment, but also have a strong impact on the quality of life of patients. Finally it will threaten the patient's life, causes death.Pelvic floor biofeedback stimulation(PFBS)stimulates pelvic floor muscles at a low and medium frequency pulse current via anal or vaginal electrodes,so as to improve pelvic floor neuromuscular function, according to the information given by the biofeedback instrument, the patient can exercise the pelvic floor muscles autonomously and correctly at the same time, and finally achieve the goal of improving the related nerve and muscle function and bladder function. There are a number of literatures reports that the application of this method in the treatment of urination dysfunction in patients with spinal cord injury has a certain effect.Neuromuscular joint facilatition(NJF)often be used to treat pain or dyskinesia caused by the orthopaedic diseases or the central nervous system diseases,it not only can alleviate pain but slao can promote movement effect in normal joints, joint capsule, furthermore it can enhance muscle strength, promote nerve recovery and maintain therapeutic effect. Therefore,NJF can be applied to the patient who has neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury,at the same time,we should measure mean residual bladder urine volume, average daily urination frequency, average maximum urine volume per urination and use the Glazer to evaluate the function changes of pelvic floor muscle surface electromyography to observe its effect on thetreatment of neurogenic bladder following the spinal cord injury. Objective:To observe the therapeutic effects of neuromuscular joint facilatition(NJF)and Pelvic floor biofeedback stimulation(PFBS)on neurogenie bladder(NB)in patients with spinal cord injury(SCI).Method:A total of 50 SCI patients with NB were divided into group A and group B.Both groups were given biofeedback electrical stimulation and conventional treatmenteveryday, thegroup B were treated with conventional treatment and pelvic floor biofeedback electric stimulation, the group A was given neuromuscular joint facilitation on this basis. The daily frequency of urination, residual urine volume, maximum urination volume and pelvic floor muscle surface electromyography value were recorded and analyzed.Resultsr:1.After one month treatment, the mean maximum urine volume, mean residual urine volumeand average daily urination frequency were all improved(P<0.05).Compared with the average maximum urine output(211.16±54.69)mlof the group B,the improvement of the average maximum urine output(259.52±52.04)mlof the group A is significant and has statistically significant(P<0.05).2.After one months treatment, the value of pelvic floor electromyography was improved in both groups compared with before treatment and shows statistical significance(P<0.05).Compared with the rapid systolic emg(26.72±4.18)u Vand the endurance systolic emg(16.24±4.23)u Vof the group B,the improvement of the rapid systolic emg(31.32±5.20)u Vand the endurance systolic emg(21.76±6.46)u V of the group A was significant and has statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Pelvic floor electronic biofeedback electrical stimulation combined with conventional therapy is effective on the treatment of neurogenic bladder and can improve the pelvic floor muscle surface electromyography.2.This treatment which on the basis of conventional therapy and electronic biofeedback electrical stimulation therapy with the application of neuromuscular joint facilatition on the treatment of neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury can effectively improve the pelvic floor muscle surface electromyography.3.On the basis of conventional treatment, the therapeutic effect of neuromuscular joint facilatition combined with electronic biofeedback electric stimulation on neurogenic bladder is better than that of pelvic floor biofeedback electric stimulation.
