Objective:Acute myocardial infarction(Acute myocardial infarction,AMI)is a common cardiovascular emergency with high fatality rate.Although the level of diagnosis and treatment of acute myocardial infarction is improving,the mortality of AMI has been showing a rapid upward trend since 2005,and the pathogenesis of acute myocardial infarction is still unclear.Micro-RNAs(miRNAs)are a class of conserved short-chain non-codingRNAs.Some miRNAs are involved in the regulation of cardiovascular disease development and regulation of other miRNAs.The previous study found that miR-503 and miR-210 may play a role in the cardiovascular system by participating in angiogenesis and apoptosis.There may be some regulation between miR-503 and miR-210.We tested the levels of miR-503 and miR-210 in plasma of patients with acute myocardial infarction and evaluated the correlation of miR-503 and miR-210,then we anlysized the potential role of miR-210 and miR-503 in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction.Method:We enrolled 64 patients with AMI at Department of Cardiology,and 26 patients at physical examination center,the Second Hospital of Jilin University from October 2018 to January 2019.We measured levels of miR-503 and miR-210 in plasma by real-time polymerase chain reaction.Furthermore,we assayed the relationship between miR-503 and miR-210 by using the Spearman test.Results:1.In this study,we tested levels of miR-503 and miR-210 in plasma of patients.The results showed that the levels of miR-503(4.89±5.25 fold changes)and miR-210(6.30±8.14 fold changes)in plasma of patients with AMI were increased than those of control group(P < 0.01).2.In the group of patients with acute myocardial infarction,the level of miR-503(6.27±6.40 fold changes)in plasma of patients with previous history of hypertension was increased more significantly than that of patients without hypertension(3.87±4.02 fold changes)(P<0.05).3.We further assayed the correlation of miR-503 and miR-210 by Spearman correlation analysis.The results showed the level of miR-503 was positively correlated with that of miR-210(r=0.235,P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The level of microRNA-503 in plasma was significantly increased after acute myocardial infarction(AMI),and the level of microRNA-503 in AMI patients with previous history of hypertension was increased more significantly than that in control group.2.The level of microRNA-210 in plasma was also increased significantly after acute myocardial infarction,and it was positively correlated with the level of microRNA-503.
