Objective:To study the relationship between the ratio of neutrophil/lymphocyte(NLR)and the acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease? Methods:This study include 185 AECOPD patients hospitalized in the respiratory department from December 2017 to December 2018.The clinical data were collected, blood routine test, arterial blood gas analysis,c-reactive protein, pulmonary function and so on.Analyzed the correlation between NLR and eosinophil in peripheral blood of CRP.The patients were divided into groups according to respiratory failure, eosinophil count, smoking history and GOLD level. They were divided into respiratory failure group and non-respiratory failure group, eosinophilic granulocyte group(eso?0.03×10~9/L)and non-eosinophilic granulocyte group(eso<0.03×10~9/L),smoking group and no smoking group,GOLD 1 level group,GOLD 2 level group.GOLD 3 level group and GOLD 4 level group,Compare whether there is a difference in the NLR of each group.Analyzed the changes of NLR before and after treatment.Result:There was a negative correlation between NLR and eosinophil count in peripheral blood(p<0.01),and a positive correlation with CRP in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease of acute exacerbation.NLR in patients with respiratory failure was higher than that in patients without respiratory failure(p<0.01).NLR in non-eosinophilic group was higher than that in eosinophilic group(p<0.05).The NLR of66 patients reexamined after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment(p<0.05),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(p<0.01).Conclusion:NLR can be used to evaluate the severity of AECOPD patients, and may be used as an indicator of therapeutic efficacy and prognosis of AECOPD patients.
