Objective:To compare the clinical efficacy of mini-channelpercutaneous nephrolithotomy(MPCNL)and standard-channel percutaneous nephrolithotomy(SPCNL)in the treatment ofrenal calculi in the range of 2-4 cm.Methods:From January 2017 to February 2019,71 patients with 2-4 cm renal calculi who underwent urological surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University were enrolled in this study. They were randomly divided into two groups:36 cases in mini-channel group and 35 cases in standard channel group. The operation time, hemoglobin decrease, leukocyte and creatinine changes, hospitalization time, stone clearance rate and complication rate of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results:In MPCNL group and SPCNL group,18 F and 24 F renal puncture pathways were established respectively. The operation time of SPCNL group was shorter than that of MPCNL group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in stone clearance rate between the two groups(P > 0.05).The average decrease of hemoglobin in MPCNL group was less than that in standard channel PCNL group, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in the changes of leukocyte and creatinine between the two groups(P > 0.05).There were no significant differences in postoperative fever, complications, hospital stay and pain between the two groups(P > 0.05).CONCLUSION: MPCNL and SPCNL have the common advantages of percutaneous nephrolithotomy, that is,less trauma, fewer complications and higher stone clearance rate.MPCNL lithotripsy time was longer than SPCNL,and there was no significant difference in postoperative complications between the two groups.SPCNL and MPCNL are safe and effective surgical methods for 2-4 cm renal calculi. |
