| Objective: To compare the clinical comparison of eustachian ba lloon dilatation combined with tympanic incision and simple tympan ic incision in the treatment of recurrent secretory otitis media in ch ildren,to provide a new option for the treatment of recurrent secret ory otitis media in children. Methods: Thirty children with recurrent secretory otitis media i n the otolaryngology department of the First People’s Hospital of C hangde City from July 2014 to June 2017 were selected as subjects. He had a history of adenoidectomy and at least 1 history of tymp anotomy/tube placement;a history of RAOM;a history of chronic otitis media that was ineffective for 3 months.Among them,15 cas es of tubal balloon dilatation combined with tympanostomy and cat heterization were performed in group A,and the other 15 cases of tympanostomy and catheterization were performed in group B.If adenoid recurrence is combined, adenoidectomy is performed at the sa me time.Pre-and postoperative eustachian tube dysfunction questio nnaire(ETDQ-7),pure-tone audiometry(PTA),CT scan and endos copy data were collected for further evaluation and analysis.Collect data and perform statistical analysis. Results: Eustachian balloon dilatation was successfully performed in15 patients in the group A.One patient in the group A had adenoid recurrence, and 8 patients in the group B had adenoid recurrence. All patients underwent adenoidectomy. There was no significant difference in hearing between the two groups(P>0.05).The total effective rate of the group A(90.48%)was higher than that of the group B(75%),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The recurrence rate(4.76%)in the group A was also lower than that in the group B(25%),but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: The effect of tympanostomy combined with eustachian tube balloon dilatation was better than that of tympanostomy alone in the treatment of children with recurrent secretory otitis media, and no related complications occurred. |
