ObjectiveThis experiment included two parts. The first part is to establish an animal to investigate the effect of radiofrequency ablation for sharp injury in livers combined with seawater immersion. The second part,to observe the curative effect of radiofrequency ablation for firearm injury in livers combined with seawater immersion and the effect of seawater immersion on war injuries.MethodsThe first part,10 adult male healthy beagles were selected. The method of surgical operation exposure combined with stabbing by surgical blade to cause shape injury in the left lobe of liver, and then soaked it in the seawater for 5 minutes.Radiofrequency ablation was applied to control hemorrhage of injured liver following the experimental animal was salvaged from seawater. To record the survival time, survival rate of the experimental animals and the rectal temperature was monitored before and after the seawater immersion.Measurements of complete blood count and blood chemistries were performed at preoperative,3rd,7th,and 14th postoperative day.The second part,20adult male healthy beagles were randomly divided into two groups, group A and group B,with a random number table method. Each group had 10 rats. The method of surgical operation exposure combined with shooting by QSZ-92 training pistol to cause firearm injury in the left lobe of liver, and then group A was soaked in seawater for 5 minutes, the group B was placed without treatment for 5 minutes.Radiofrequency ablation was applied to control hemorrhage of injured liver after 5 minutes. To record the survival time, survival rate and the rectal temperature of the experimental animals after 5minutes.Measurements of complete blood count and blood chemistries and liver pathology were performed at preoperative,3rd,7th,and 14th postoperative day.ResultsThe first part, all experimental animals survived to 14th postoperative, with a survival rate of 100%.The relevant indicators:erythrocyte count, platelet count, hemoglobin concentration, albumin concentration, alanine aminotransferase, and aspartate aminotransferase, they all returned to normal before the experimental animals were sacrificed. The second part, the relevant indicators except albumin of group A were returned to normal before the experimental animals were sacrificed.Compared with group B,group A had differences in erythrocyte, platelets and albumin, indicating that war injuries were aggravated in these aspects combined with seawater immersion.ConclusionsFirstly, the inflammation and damage of liver function were aggravated combined with seawater immersion;Secondly,it has a definite effect of radiofrequency ablation of for sharp liver injury combined with seawater immersion and liver firearm injury combined with seawater immersion.
