Clinical Observation Of Tongyuan Acupuncture In Treating Hysteromyoma With Qi Dificiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of Tongyuan acupuncture in treating hysteromyoma with qi dificiency and blood stasis syndrome,and to explore a curative effect and feasible treatment method of hysteromyoma.MethodsBasing on the principle of randomization,control and single blindness.60 patients suffering from hysteromyoma with qi dificiency and blood stasis syndrome were randomly divided into treat ment group and control group,30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Tongyuan acupuncture,while the control group received conventional acupuncture.The course of treatment was 2 months.Combinating of B-mode ultrasonography,the numueric change of hysteromyoma and TCM symptoms and signs rating form were observed in the two groups before and after treatment.After the study,the date were analyzed by the person who is just in charge of statistics to compare the difference of curative effect between the two groups and within the group.Results1.There were 3 patients fall ing off for personal reasons,so 29 patients in the treatment group and 28 patients in the control group finally completed the treatment study.In the treatment group,6 cases were cured,15 cases were markedly effective,6 cases were improved and 2 cases were ineffective,while the total effective rate was 93.10%.And in the control group,2 cases were cured,7 cases were markedly effective,11 cases were improved and 8 cases were ineffective,while the total effective rate was 71.43%.There werestatistically significant differences(p<0.05)in the overall efficacybetween the two goups.2.There were statistically significant differences(p<0.05)in the score of uterine size,hysteromyoma size,TCM symptoms before and after the intervention in and between two groups,showing that the curative effect of the treatment group is better than the control goup.3.There were statistically significant differences(p<0.05)in all the score of TCM symptoms before and after the intervention in the treatment group,showing it can significantly improves TCM symptoms.And there were statistically significant differences(p<0.05)in the score of TCM symptoms except for pulse condition before and after the intervention in the control goup.4.There were statistically significant differences(p<0.05)before and after the intervention in two groups.And the treatment group showed better curative effect in improving uterine size,hysteromyoma,menstrual color,menstrual texture,tongue manifestation,while the control goup in improving lumbago and waist acid.But there were no statistically significant differences(p>0.05)in the scores of mental fatigue,abnormal menstrual volume,menstrual cycle disorder,hypogastric pain and compression,abnormal leucorrhea,palpitation and shortness of breath before and after the intervention between groups,showing the two groups has no difference in effect.ConclusionAcupuncture has a certain clinical effect on hysteromyoma patients with qi dificiency and blood stasis syndrome.There was a better clinical effect of using Tongyuan acupuncture in hysteromyoma patients with qi dificiency and blood stasis syndrome.Tongyuan acupuncture can relief clinical symptoms significantly,reduce fibroid volume and even eiminate fibroid,shorten disease course and safe without side effect.
