As the economic level improves,people’s living conditions improve,and unhealthy living habits are accompanied by people.Despite the continuous improvement of medical technology,the types and incidence of chronic diseases are on the rise,and also bring a series of psychological and social problems,which also affect people’s quality of life.Therefore,research on improving the quality of life of patients with chronic diseases from the perspective of medical social work has become the focus,and patients themselves need to change this state to improve their quality of life in their later years.The subject of this study is hospitalized patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans.They are faced with repeated episodes of the disease and need to pay high medical expenses,which brings physiological,psychological,social,and economic pressure to the patients.However,the current hospital service model can not meet the various needs of patients,and medical social work can provide patients with a full range of physical and mental services from different perspectives of medical treatment to improve the quality of life of patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans.This study is a practical study to improve the quality of life of patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans by using case management mode from the perspective of medical social work.Based on the theory of social support network and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,using literature review,questionnaire survey and interview method,10 patients in vascular surgery of a top three hospital were selected as subjects,first analyzing and summarizing patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans.Basic situation,the status quo of quality of life and the causes of their low quality of life.Secondly,social workers selected one of the clients to intervene in detail,and used the case management model to serve the clients from various stages of admission to discharge.After the case wasdischarged from the hospital,the patient was followed up by telephone interview to help patients improve their basic knowledge of the disease,improve the self-management ability of the client,and alleviate the anxiety and panic caused by the disease.Through the establishment of the patient support group,the social support network of the client was strengthened,and the intervention effect was evaluated.Finally,based on the practice of medical social work to improve the quality of life of patients,this study was summarized and reflected,and the practical experience was put forward.Countermeasures and recommendations,with a view to medical social work,Good for the patients they serve,so that their quality of life has improved. |
