Objective: The clinical data of Hashimoto's thyroiditis(HT)combined with papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC)and simple papillary thyroid carcinoma were compared and the difference between the two was sought. Methods: A retrospective analysis of patients from the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2018 to January 2019,who underwent general surgery and surgical diagnosis of thyroid papillary carcinoma.By comparing Hashimoto's thyroiditis with thyroid papillary carcinoma group(observation group)and simple thyroid papillary carcinoma group(control group)in age, gender, ultrasound characteristics, preoperative thyroid function, lymph node metastasis, pathological features,The difference in clinical staging, etc.,to compare whether the difference is statistically significant. The two sets of data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 software. Results:A total of 375 patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma were enrolled in this study. There were 44 patients(11.73%)with Hashimoto's thyroiditis and 331 patients with thyroid papillary carcinoma alone.By contrast analysis, the female patients in the observation group were more common than the female patients in the control group. The preoperative TSH level was higher, the preoperative B-ultrasound showed a lower proportion of lymph node metastasis, and the clinical pathology had a lower proportion of tumor capsule invasion. However, the pathological stage was earlier(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The preoperative TSH level of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group. It is speculated that HT may be one of the causes of PTC.Treatment with levothyroxine tablets can reduce the rate of thyroid malignancy and reduce the recurrence rate of PTC.2.Preoperative color Doppler ultrasound examination showed that the control group had a higher proportion of patients with unclear lesions in the observation group. There were no statistical differences in other aspects such as tumor size, texture, morphology, blood flow, calcification, and multifocal. It is suggested that the preoperative color Doppler ultrasound examination found that patients with HT had little effect on the accuracy of PTC diagnosis.3.The proportion of women in the observation group was higher than that in the control group.Preoperative color Doppler ultrasound showed a low proportion of lymph node metastasis, the proportion of clinical pathological tumor capsule invasion was lower, and the pathological stage was earlier, suggesting that the prognosis of PTC patients with HT is better.
