| One case of "skin mucin disease with hypopigmentation as the first presentation" was reported.The patient was surnamed zhao,a 35-year-old female.Pale white spots appeared on the chest and upper limbs for more than 7 years.He was diagnosed as "pityriasis versiformis" in another hospital,and was given antifungal drugs(unknown)for external treatment.However,the skin lesions have not been alleviated,and there is a trend of continuous increase.Dermatological examination: front chest and double forearm densely distributed mung bean size pale white spots,smooth surface,unclear boundaries,some fusion into a grid,symmetrical distribution.Histopathology of the right forearm lesion showed that the epidermis was normal in general,no melanin granule increase and pigment insufficiency,superficial dermal fibroblasts proliferation and mucin deposition were observed.A new blue staining: positive.Diagnosis: skin mucin disease.Mucins skin disease(Cutaneous Mucinosis CM)on fibroblasts produce too much sticky protein and gathered in the dermal tissue clearance as the main characteristics of a group of diseases,is a rare clinical.Its pathogenesis involves immune mediators,inflammatory factors,external stimuli,genetic factors,sun exposure,virus infection and many other aspects,but the exact mechanism of mucoprotein production is still unclear.There are various clinical types of CM,including reticular erythematous mucosis,tuberous cutaneous lupus mucosis,self-healing juvenile cutaneous mucosis,hair follicular mucosis,and tibial mucosal edema and systemic mucosal edema secondary to thyroid disease.Clinically,papules,nodules and plaques are more common,with multiple facial and cervical lesions.Show color of skin,reddish or white,also can see spot,fibroma appearance.The diagnosis was based on the results of alcian blue staining.In terms of treatment,there are also great differences in the selection of treatment methods according to different types,such as surgical excision of local skin lesions,local closure of glucocorticoids or external application,systematic application of hormones and antimalarial drugs,as well as shallow X-ray and PUVA and other measures,all of which can achieve different effects.Some lesions may regress spontaneously. |
