Objective: To evaluate the effect of TACE by the comparison of the ADC values change in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma in 1-3 days before and after TACE in a month with diffusion weighted imaging. Methods: Computer searched pubmed/medline/Cochrane/China Knowledge Network(CNKI)/China Biomedical Literature Database(CBM-disc)/ Wanfang Medicine and Weipu Database in Chinese and English databases for comparison of the ADC value change in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma before and after TACE with DWI.A literature review of a case-control study of changes in ADC values by nuclear magnetic resonance DWI was performed, and meta-analysis was performed based on literature inclusion and exclusion criteria.Meta analysis was performed using Rev.Man 5.3,and the corresponding effect model analysis was selected based on the heterogeneity results. Then analyze the heterogeneity sources by subgroup analysis and sensitivity test according to the heterogeneity test results. Results: The literature collection ended in April 2018,320 articles were retrieved according to the conditions, and more than 50 articles were re-added according to the conditions. They were carefully read and scored, and the scores were completed by two people.14 cases,553 cases of cumulative cases(607 lesions),meta-analysis showed that the ADC value of liver cancer lesions increased one month after TACE compared with preoperative, heterogeneity test results I2=76%>50%,P <0.00001(P<0.005),the ADC value combined effect amount is(MD)=-0.27,95% CI:-0.31—-0.24.Due to the heterogeneity, after subgroup analysis and heterogeneity test, after excluding an article that has an impact on the stability of the results, the heterogeneity test found I2=62%>50%,P=0.003<0.05,still heterogeneous, the article stability can be.Conclusion: There was a statistically significant change in ADC values before and after TACE.The ADC value increased after treatment for one month after TACE.DWI examination plays a very important role in the evaluation of the efficacy of preoperative and postoperative TACE.The conventional MRI-DWI examination is suitable for the evaluation of the efficacy of TACE in primary liver cancer.
