| Objective:Through giving acupuncture treatment to patients with bl ood stasis ovarian chocolate cysts,evaluate its clinical efficacy and safet y in improving patients' symptoms of TCM,ameliorating pelvic pain,impr oving quality of life,and reducing postoperative recurrence rate.Methods:Patients with blood stasis ovarian chocolate cysts who un derwent laparoscopic cystectomy were included in the blank group,acupu ncture group,and western medicine group according to the postoperativet reatment plan.30 patients in each group were selected.Blank group:no tre atment after surgery,only follow-up;Acupuncture group:acupunctureafterfi xed operation,once a day,30 minutes every time,avoiding menstruation,con tinuous treatment for 3months;Western medicine group:surgeryGnRH-a(Go nadotropin-releasing hormone agonist),3.75 mg every time,intramuscular i njection once every 28 days,and treatment was terminated after 3 month s.After treatment,the clinical total efficacy rate,TCM symptom score,VA S score and quality of life score of each group were observed.Therecurr ence of each group was statistically analyzed at half a year and1 year after operation.Results:1.The total clinical effective rates of the blank group,the acupunctu re group and the western medicine group were 63.33%,86.67% and 90.00%,respectively.The acupuncture group and the western medicine group were better than the blank group,the difference was statistically signific ant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the acupunctur e group and the western medicine group(P>0.05).2.There were no significant differences in TCM scores and VAS sc ores between the three groups before treatment(P>0.05).The improveme nt of TCM symptom scores and VAS scores in the acupuncture groupan d the western medicine group were significantly better than those in th e blank group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Therewas no significant difference between western medicine group and acup uncture group(P>0.05).3.There were no significant differences in the quality of life scores between the three groups before treatment(P>0.05).There was a statistic ally significant difference in the overall quality of life,overall health st atus,physiological field,and self-evaluation between the acupuncture gro up and the blank group after treatment(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the scores of psychological field,social relationship andenv ironment(P>0.05).There were significant differences in the overall quali ty of life and self-evaluation between western medicine group and blan k group(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the overall healt h status,physiological field,psychological field,social relationship,andenvi ronmental field(P>0.05).There was no statistical difference of the quali ty of life scores of the acupuncture group and the western medicine gr oupafter 3 months of treatment(P>0.05).4.The cumulative recurrence rates of the blank group,the acupunctur e group and the western medicine group were 26.67%,13.33%and 6.67%,respectively.The recurrence rates of the acupuncture group and the west ern medicine group were lower than those of the blank group,therewas significant difference between the western medicine group and the blank group(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference between the acupunct ure group and the blank group,the acupuncture group and the western medicine group(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture can effectively improve the TCM symptoms of patie nts with bloody ovarian chocolate cysts after surgery;2.Acupuncture can effectively relieve pelvic pain in patients with bloody ovarian chocolate cysts after surgery;3.Acupuncture can effectively improve the quality of life of patien ts with bloody ovarian chocolate cysts after surgery;4.The exact effect of acupuncture on reducing the recurrence rate of bloody ovarian chocolate cysts still needs further investigation. |
