| Objective: By comparing serum homocysteine(Hcy)levels in normal and lung cancer patients, serum homocysteine(Hcy)levels in patients with different pathological stages of lung cancer, and serum homocysteine(Hcy)in patients with advanced and stable lung cancer. To explore the value of serum homocysteine(Hcy)level in early screening and early diagnosis of lung cancer, and to study the relationship between serum homocysteine(Hcy)level and pathological stage of lung cancer and its value in lung cancer progression. Methods: First part Serum TG,CHO,HDL,LDL,APOA,APOB,Lpa,APOE,NEFA,and Hcy from 20 patients with lung cancer during the period from January 2016 to June 2016 were analyzed and all lung cancer patients were clearly pathologically typed. At the same time, fasting serum of 20 healthy subjects was collected. The unpaired t-test was used to analyze the changes of serum expression levels of lung cancer group and control group, and to explore the correlation between each index and lung cancer. The resulting data was analyzed using GraphPad Prism 6.0.Second part Serum Hcy from 149 patients with lung cancer during the period from January 2016 to May 2018 were analyzed and all lung cancer patients were clearly pathologically typed.Of these patients,95 cases were newly diagnosed without any treatment, and 56 cases were successfully treated with long-term follow-up of Computed Tomography. At the same time, fasting serum of 62 healthy subjects and lung infection patients was collected, and serum homocysteine level was detected by enzymecirculation method.According to the presence or absence of changes in the tumor size and/ or new metastases, the patients were divided into the disease stable group(n=42)and the disease progression group(n=14).The t-test was used to analyze the changes of Hcy levels among groups. The value of serum homocysteine(Hcy)level in early screening and early diagnosis of lung cancer was investigated.Serum serum homocysteine(Hcy)level was studied.Correlation with pathological staging of lung cancer and its value in the progression of lung cancer. The resulting data was analyzed using GraphPad Prism 6.0.Results: 1.In the lung cancer group and the control group, the levels of serum TG,CHO,LDL,APOB,and APOE in the lung cancer group did not differ between groups(P>0.05)。The levels of serum HDL and APOA decreased in the lung cancer group. The levels of serum Lpa,NEFA and Hcy increased in the lung cancer group. The levels of serum HDL,APOA,Lpa,NEFA and Hcy were statistically significant(P<0.05).The changes of serum HDL,APOA and Lpa levels were all within the clinical reference interval. The changes were statistically significant but not clinically meaningful. The changes of serum NEFA and Hcy levels were statistically significant and clinically significant.2.The serum Hcy level of lung cancer group was significantly higher than that of healthy control group, and the serum Hcy content of patients with TNM stage IV stage lung cancer was significantly higher than that of stage I-III lung cancer patients(p<0.05).There was no difference in serum levels between the lung cancer group and the lung infection group(P>0.05).During the follow-up,the level of Hcy in the stable disease group decreased, and the level of Hcy in the disease progression group increased, and there were significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.The serum Hcy level is closely related to lung cancer and different stages, and it has certain diagnostic value for lung cancer,However, there is no differential diagnosis value for lung infections suspected of lung cancer.2.Dynamic monitoring of serum Hcy level can beused as an effective means to observe the changes of lung cancer. |
