Background: There are two polymorphism(rs107822 and rs213210)identified in the microRNA-219a-1 gene,which have the characteristics of changing the secondary structure of genes.Meanwhile,microRNA-219a-1 is involved in transcriptional regulation,RNA metabolism regulation,RNA polymerase II promoter transcription,gene expression and other related pathways.Objective: to evaluate the relationship between polymorphism of microrna-219a-1 gene rs107822 and rs213210 and tumor susceptibility using sports meta-analysis.Methods: PubMed,Medline,Google Scholar and other databases were searched by computer to collect all case-control studies that met the inclusion criteria by March 2019.An overall meta-analysis was performed on all included literatures,and studies between different subgroups were compared one by one to assess possible publication bias,and the relative positions of two polymorphic loci on mirna-219a-1 were analyzed.Results: In overall meta-analysis,rs107822 polymorphism was found to be significantly related with decreased risk of tumor,in the subgroup analysis based on racial categories,in Caucasian,found no rs107822 polymorphism is associated with tumor risk is obvious,but in the Asian population in the subgroup analysis found that rs107822 polymorphism is associated with tumorigenesis,and protect the allele model(A,B vs.OR = 0.796,95% CI = 0.569 0.991,p z = 0.043).Homozygous genetic model(BB vs.AA,OR = 0.525,95%ci = 0.302-0.913,Pz = 0.023)and invisible contrast model(BB vs.BA + AA,OR = 0.568,95%ci = 0.354-0.911,Pz = 0.019).Rs213210 polymorphism was not related to the risk of tumorigenesis.Similar results were obtained in all five gene models,allele model(B vs.A,OR = 1.091,95%ci = 0.904-1.316,Pz = 0.363),homozygous genetic model(BB vs.AA,OR = 1.405,95%ci = 0.685-2.88,Pz = 0.354)Heterozygous genetic model(BA vs.AA,OR = 1.033,95%ci = 0.86-1.241,Pz = 0.727),recessive contrast model(BB vs.BA + AA,OR = 1.069,95%ci = 0.866-1.32,Pz = 0.532)and dominant contrast model(BB + BA vs.AA,OR = 1.359,95%ci = 0.822-2.245,Pz = 0.232).Conclusion: rs107822 polymorphism of miRNA-219a-1 gene is significantly correlated with reducing the risk of tumor,while rs213210 polymorphism is not correlated with the risk of tumor.
