Objective: To observe the effect of Mongolian medicine Danggong-3 on the aorta and PPAR-? of AS rats, and to explore the significance and possible target and mechanism of Mongolian medicine Danggong-3 in the treatment of AS.Methods: Sixty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 6 groups: blank control group, western medicine gemfibrozil group,Mongolian medicine Danggong-3 low, medium and high dose group, and model control group. The blank control group was fed with normal feed, and the other 5 groups were fed with high fat diet and vitamin D-3 intraperitoneal injection to form a rat AS model. After successful modeling, the feeding methods of each group were continued.Except for the blank control group and the model control group, each drug group was given the corresponding drug for intragastric administration, and the blank control group and the model control group were given the same amount of normal saline. After 30 days of administration, aortic blood was taken for blood lipid determination, and the aorta retained specimens were taken for pathological and molecular biological tests. Results: There was significant difference in blood lipid levels between the treatment groups(P<0.05).The levels of TG,HDL-C and LHL-C in the high dose of Mongolian Danggong-3 were better than the other groups(P<0.05).The aortic pathology section showed that the AS injury was repaired in each drug group, and the repair level of Mongolian medicine Dang-3 high-dose group was better than the other groups;Mongolian medicine Danggong-3 was better than P-like target gene amplification. The other groups(P<0.05);Mongolian medicine Danggong-3 was better than the other groups in improving the expression of PPAR-? gene(P<0.05).Conclusion: Mongolian medicine Danggong-3 can promote the proliferation of peroxisomes in aortic cells. In clinical application, the party can be used to regulate blood lipids as an entry point to achieve the purpose of treating AS.
