| Objective:In this study,we observed the changes of TCM symptom scores,Pulmonary function and other indicators after treatment with Xiaoqinglong Decoction combined with Juanxiao Decoction in patients with external cold and internal fluid type of asthma,to explore the safety and clinical efficacy of this prescription.Method:Collecting patients from the outpatient department of the Department of Pulmonary Diseases,Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,screening 80 cases that met the inclusion criteria,and divided into the control group and the treatment group by 40 cases in a single-blind,randomized manner.The treatment group was treated with Xiaoqinglong Decoction combined with Juanxiao Decoction,while the control group was based on Xiaoqinglong Decoction.The patient’s name,gender,age,ACT score sheet,TCM symptom score table,pulmonary function,asthma severity grade were recorded before treatment,complete basic vital signs,electrocardiogram,blood routine,liver and kidney function tests,after treatment for one week,the curative effect of TCM syndromes,TCM symptom scores and pulmonary function changes were compared with the previous treatment.Finally,the data were collated and statistical analysis was performed to evaluate the difference in safety and clinical efficacy between the two groups.Results :(1)Curative effect of TCM symptoms: In the treatment of patients with external cold and internal fluid type of asthma,the total effective rate was 92.5% in the treatment group and 80% in the control group.The total effective rate of the two groups was statistically analyzed P<0.05,and the difference between them was significant.This indicates that the treatment group is generally more effective than the control group.(2)TCM total scores: The total scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups before and after treatment were P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that both groups can improve the TCM symptoms of asthma patients;the total score of TCM syndrome after treatment The comparison between groups was P<0.05,which showed significant difference,indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in reducing TCM symptoms.(3)Single symptom scores: The single symptom scores of respite,cough,chest tightness,aversion to cold,nasal congestion,sputum,wheezing,abdominal distension,tongue color after treatment in the two groups were compared with those before treatment,P<0.05,the difference was significant;After treatment,the treatment group and the control group had P<0.05 in respite,cough,chest tightness,sputum,wheezing,abdominal distension,and tongue color,with significant difference;There was no significant difference in the degree of aversion to cold and nasal obstruction.The treatment group was more effective than the control group in the treatment of respite,cough,chest tightness,sputum,wheezing,abdominal distension,and tongue color,and both of them were effective and effective in treating aversion to cold and nasal congestion.(4)Pulmonary function indexes: Both groups can improve the FEV1 and FEV1%indexes of Pulmonary function.The contrast between the two groups before and after treatment was P<0.05,and the difference was significant.After treatment,the comparison between the two groups was P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.This indicates that the treatment group improved the pulmonary function FEV1 and FEV1% of the patients better than the control group.Conclusion:Xiaoqinglong Decoction combined with Juanxiao Decoction and Xiaoqinglong Decoction are effective in treating asthma of external cold and internal fluid type,the former has been significantly effective in improving TCM symptoms and improving pulmonary function FEV1 and FEV1% by strengthening the movement of "Qi".This study proves the clinical efficacy and safety of Xiaoqinglong Decoction combined with Juanxiao Decoction in the treatment of asthma,and opens up new ideas for the treatment of asthma with TCM syndrome differentiation. |
