Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum thioredoxin(TRX1),thioredoxin interacting protein(TXNIP)levels and ventricular remodeling in patients with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSA),and to explore OSA-related left ventricular hypertrophy Related mechanisms and new predictive indicators of OSA-related left ventricular hypertrophy,and to provide new avenues for the treatment of OSA-related left ventricular hypertrophy.Methods:Totally 47 patients newly diagnosed as OSA in the sleep and respiratory monitoring room of our hospital and divideded into two groups: moderate to severe OSA-related ventricular hypertrophy group(13 cases)and the moderate-to-severe OSA group(34cases).To extract the venous blood of the patient after the morning,and the serum was collected after centrifugation.The levels of TRX1 and TXNIP were measured by ELISA,and the echocardiography was performed on the day of PSG completion.Results:1.There was no significant difference in gender,age and BMI between the moderate and severe OSA-related left ventricular hypertrophy group and the moderate-to-severeOSA group(P<0.05).2.Compared with the moderate-to-severe OSA group,the AHI,the minimum oxygen saturation,the TRX1 and TXNIP levels in the moderate-to-severe OSA combined with the left ventricular hypertrophy group were statistically significant(P<0.05).3.There was a linear correlation between AHI and TRX1 and TXNIP concentrations.The higher the AHI,the higher the TRX1 and the higher the TXNIP(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between TRX1 and TXNIP concentrations(P<0.05).4.There was a positive correlation between serum TRX1 and TXNIP levels and myocardial index.There was a positive linear relationship between TRX1 and myocardial index(r=0.642,P<0.05).There was a positive linear relationship between TXNIP and myocardial index(r=0.745,P< 0.05).Conclusion:1.The serum TRX1 and TXNIP levels in patients with moderate to severe OSA-related left ventricular hypertrophy were higher than those in patients with moderate to severe OSA,indicating that the oxidative stress level in patients with moderate to severe OSA was higher than that in patients with moderate to severe OSA,and TRX1 and TXNIP were included.The increase in AHI indicates that the level of oxidative stress represented by TRX1 and TXNIP is closely related to the severity of OSA.2.The serum TRX1 and TXNIP concentrations were positively correlated with the degree of left ventricular hypertrophy,indicating that the elevated levels of oxidative stress represented by TRX1 and TXNIP promoted left ventricular hypertrophy.
