| Objective:This study was conducted to investigate the postoperative effects of different surgical timings on functional reconstruction of sagittal intracapsular condylar fracture,and to provide a reference for the choice of clinical operation timing.Methods:The data of 33 patients with intracapsular fractures of the mandibular condyle in our department from January 2015 to July 2018 were collected by electronic medical record system,outpatient follow-up and telephone follow-up of the affiliated hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities.Referring to the domestic and foreign literature and the mechanism of traumatic facial swelling and the formation of fibrous callus,combined with the timing of patients visiting the hospital after injury,according to the interval between patient injury and operation time:Group I:11 patients with injury to surgery time 2d(48h),Group II:13 patients with injury to surgery time from 3d to 14d,Group III:9 patients with injury to surgery time from 15d to 30d.The patients were followed up for 6 months after surgery.According to Qiu Weiliu’s criteria for evaluation of fracture curative effect,the postoperative jaw relation,mouth opening and temporomandibular joint area with or without pain and similarity before trauma,presence or absence of infection and facial paralysis were recorded and compared.The difference of postoperative complications and functional recovery in patients with intracapsular fractures of the mandibular condyle,Exploring the timing of surgery for the treatment of intracapsular fractures of the mandibular condyle.Results:(1)Comparison of postoperative complication rates:There was no statistically significant difference between the three groups(?~2=2.354,P=0.308).(2)Functional recovery:The difference between the three groups of data was statistically significant(?~2=11.344,P=0.003).A pairwise comparison was made:the difference between group I and group III was statistically significant(P=0.017);the difference between group II and group III was statistically significant(P=0.007);group I and group II The difference was not statistically significant(P=1.000).Conclusion:(1)In this study,for patients with intracapsular fractures of the mandibular condyle,there is no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between patients with intracapsular fractures of the mandibular condyle.(2)In this study,for patients with intracapsular fractures of the mandibular condyle,the functional reconstruction of surgical treatment within 2 weeks after injury is better than the effect of 15-30 days after injury.(3)In this study,for patients with intracapsular fractures of the mandibular condyle,the surgical treatment within 2 days after injury was equivalent to the surgical treatment within 3-14 days after injury. |
