Clinical Observation Of Shenlingbaizhu Powder Combined With Acupoint Magnetic Therapy In The Treatment Of Pharyngitis Caused By Spleen Deficiency And Dampness

Objective:Guided by the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,this study preliminarily observed the clinical efficacy and safety of shenlingbaizhu powder combined with acupoint magnetic therapy and shenlingbaizhu powder alone in the treatment of patients of pharyngitis caused by spleen deficiency and dampness,thus providing a safe and effective method for clinical treatment ofpharyngitis.Methods:A total of 60 outpatients who were admitted to the otolaryngology department of our hospital in line with pharyngitis caused by spleen deficiency and dampness were randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to the number of visits,30 patients in each group.Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria of this study in the department of otolaryngology of our hospital were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group according to the number of visits.30 patients in each group were given shenlingbaizhu powder free decoction granules,taken with warm water,one dose a day,and at the same time,pharyngeal flatness acupoint magnetic therapy was applied externally,2 times each time,once every other day.In the control group,shenlingbaizhu powder was given as a single dose a day.The course of treatment in both groups was 4 weeks,and the symptoms and signs of the patients before and after treatment were recorded in the form of questionnaire at the initial diagnosis and 1,2 and 4 weeks after treatment respectively,and the comprehensive score was given.Finally,the score data collected were sorted out and statistically analyzed,so as to compare the efficacy results of the two groups.Results:After 1 week of treatment,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 55.17%,while that of the control group was 27.59%.The difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 58.62%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 48.28%,the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05),but the effect of the experimental group on pharyngeal pain and pharyngeal mucosal hyperemia was more obvious,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 82.76%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 62.07%,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).In addition,the experimental group had more prominent effects in improving pharyngeal foreign body sensation,sputum adhesion sensation,pharyngeal pain,nausea,and pharyngeal mucosal hyperemia,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Shenlingbaizhu powder and shenlingbaizhu powder combined with acupoint magnetic therapy can both alleviate the clinical symptoms or/and signs of pharyngitis caused by spleen deficiency and dampness;2.Shenlingbaizhu powder combined with acupoint magnetic therapy has a better effect on the patients with pharyngitis caused by spleen deficiency and dampness,and is particularly obvious in improving local symptoms and signs of pharynx;3.There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups of subjects in this clinical trial,indicating that shenlingbaizhu powder combined with acupoint magnetic therapy plaster is safe in the treatment of pharyngitis caused by spleen deficiency and dampness.
