Objective: To construct the evaluation index system of core competence of respiratory specialized nurses,which conforms to the characteristics of respiratory department.It provides objective and quantifiable reference basis for training,appointment,assessment and evaluation of respiratory specialized nurses,provides reference opinions for curriculum design of specialized nurses,and promotes the improvement of nursing level of respiratory department.Methods: Through literature analysis,qualitative interviews,referencing related scales and guidelines,the research team form a pool of core competence items of respiratory specialized nurses,and form a draft framework of evaluation index system through pre-investigation.The evaluation index system and its weight coefficient of core competence of respiratory specialized nurses are initially established by Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process,through reliability and validity analysis,the evaluation index system of core competence of respiratory specialized nurses is established.Result : 1.The evaluation index of core competence of respiratory specialized nurses includes four first-level index(theoretical knowledge of respiratory specialty,practical skills of respiratory specialty,communication and coordination ability,expanding ability of respiratory specialty),15 second-level index and 64 third-level index.2.The two rounds of Delphi Method questionnaires are 92.15% and 96.00%respectively,The expert’s judgment coefficient(Ca)is 0.90,familiarity degree(Cs)is 0.92,authority coefficient(Cr)is 0.91,the coordination coefficient of the two rounds of Delphi method is 0.42,and the coordination coefficient of the two rounds of Delphi method is 0.39.The difference has statistical significance.3.Analytic Hierarchy Process determines the weight coefficients of the first-level index : theory knowledge in respiratory specialty is 0.2989,practical skills in respiratory specialty is 0.5003,communication and coordination ability is 0.0974,and expanding ability in respiratory specialty is 0.1033.4.The constructed index system is tested by reliability and validity: The whole of the index system ’s Cronbach’s α coefficient is 0.961,The whole of the index system’s content validity index(S-CVI)is 0.970,and the correlation coefficient between the first-level index and the whole of index system is0.790~0.943(P<0.01).Conclusion: By combining qualitative and quantitative research methods,the evaluation index system of core competence of respiratoryspecialized nurses is constructed,including 4 first-level index,15second-level index and 64 third-level index.Statistical analysis shows that the index system has good reliability and validity.It can be used as an evaluation tool for core competence evaluation of respiratory specialized nurses and provide quantifiable reference for clinical nursing managers in training,assessment and evaluation of respiratory specialized nurses.
