A Meta-Analysis On Effect Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Lotion On Woun Healing After Anal Fistula Summary Of Medication Rules

Research purpose:A systematic review and meta-analysis of the effects of traditional Chinese medicine lotion on postoperative anal fistula.Method: A randomized controlled study comparing the effects of traditional Chinese medicine lotion and non-Chinese traditional medicine on postoperative recovery of anal fistula in Chinese and foreign biomedical databases starting from the foundation of the database to January 2019,including Cochrane Library,PubMed,OVID,SpringerLinker,ScinceDirect,EBSCO,CNKI,VIP Chinese Sci-tech Periodicals Database,Wanfang Data and China Biomedical Abstracts.Result:A total of 30 eligible randomized controlled trials were included with a total sample size of 2850 patients.Meta-analysis showed that in terms of efficiency,wound healing time,postoperative pain improvement and disappearance time,compared with the control group,traditional Chinese medicine lotion has high efficiency in treating wound healing after anal fistula,and the overall efficiency is high.(OR=5.44,95%CI:4.00~ 7.39,P< 0.00001).Highly efficient compared to the potassium permanganate group(OR=6.60,95%CI:4.17 ~ 10.45,P <0.00001).Highly efficient compared to the boiling water/salt group(OR=4.73,95%CI:1.94 ~ 11.54,P < 0.00001).Highly efficient compared to the no control group(OR=5.08,95%CI:2.70~9.54,P<0.00001).Chinese medicine lotion for shorter healing time after anal fistula treatment(MD=-5.46,95%CI:-5.73 ~-5.18,P <0.00001).Chinese medicine lotion improves the pain after anal fistula surgery(scoring standard of VAS(MD=-1.71,95%CI:-2.43~-0.98,P < 0.00001)the scoring standard of Postoperative pain disappearance time(MD=-2.17,95%CI:-3.06~-1.28,P<0.00001)).The Chinese medicine lotion group has a short time of exudation or secretion disappearance(MD=-2.56,95%CI:-2.88~-2.23,P<0.00001).Conclusions:The treatment of anal fistula with traditional Chinese medicine lotion is better than non-Chinese medicine such as potassium permanganate,salt water,which can significantly shorten the healing time,postoperative pain time and secretion exudation time.
