Purpose:Summarize the correlation factor and distribution of TCM syndrome types in 177 patients with functional constipation,to further guide clinical syndrome differentiation.Analysis the correlation between TCM syndrome types of 177 patients with functional constipation and living habits, eating habits, mental factors and so on,to provide a theoretical basis for clinical treatment. Methods:Patients with functional constipation who were admitted to the department of Gastroenterology,Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2017 to December2018 were selected for screening according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The medical history and related factors were collected and recorded according to the medical history collection form and the related factors of functional constipation. Finally, the data was input into the SPSS 25.0 system for statistical analysis.Results:1.The ratio of male to female in 177 patients with FC was1:1.7,women accounted for 61.02%,while men accounted for 38.98%;the youngest was 18 years old,and the largest was 75 years old.The middle-aged group accounted for the largest proportion(41.81%),followed by the elderly group(35.03%),the lowest proportion was in the youth group(23.16%).2.Constipation with qi stagnation syndrome is related to gender(P<0.05),the percentage of women is more than that of men. There was no significant difference between the other syndrome types and gender(P>0.05).3.Constipation with qi stagnation syndrome, constipation with heat accumulation syndrome is related to age(P<0.05),the proportion of constipation with qi stagnation syndrome patients in the middle-aged group was the largest(57.69%),and constipation with heat accumulation syndrome in the youth group was the largest(47.06%).The remaining syndrome types and age were not statistically different(P>0.05).4.The common influencing factors of 177 FC patients of different age groups were associated with stay up late, bad mood, inhibition of bowel movements, whether one likes spicy food or not and defecation.(P<0.05).5.177 cases of FC patients with a frequency of more than 20% were accompanied by symptoms: abdominal distension, dry mouth, dreaminess, belching, loss of appetite, loss of gas, insomnia, chest distension, fatigue, upset, acid reflux, yellow urine, pain in the mouth, and back pain.Conclusion:1.In this study,TCM syndromes of functional constipation are most common in constipation with qi stagnation syndrome, sorted by frequency of occurrence as constipation with qi stagnation syndrome>constipation with syndrome of qi deficiency of lung and spleen > constipation with syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kedney > constipation with blood deficiency syndrome > constipation with syndrome of yin deficiency of liver and kidney > constipation with heat accumulation syndrome > constipation with cold accumulation syndrome.2.Among the 177 FC patients, the middle-aged population was the majority, and females were more than males.Constipation with qi stagnation syndrome is more common in women and middle-aged people, and constipation with heat accumulation syndrome is more common in young people.3.The common influencing factors of 177 FC patients were associatedwith age, gender, stay up late, bad mood, inhibition of bowel movements, whether one likes spicy food or not and defecation.
