Objective:The risk level of workers exposed to chemical hazards in two chemical companies was evaluated, the risk level of each hazard factor in the workplace was obtained, and risk control measures were proposed for the risk level. The results of the evaluation of each method are verified by the results of occupational surveillance, and the comparative analysis and applicability of the evaluation results are provided to provide a basis for the improvement of risk assessment standards.Method:1 Occupational Hygiene Survey: Understand the hazard factors of contact in various positions of the enterprise, the use of each hazard factor, and the prevention and control measures and production system of workplace hazards.2 On-site concentration detection: According to the relevant requirements in GBZ 159-2004 "Sampling Standards for Monitoring of Hazardous Substances in Workplace Air" and GBZ/T160-2004 "Determination of Toxic Substances in Workplace Air",the concentration of harmful factors in the workplace Test.3 Risk assessment: use the GBZ/T 298-2017 "Technical Guidelines for Occupational Health Risk Assessment of Chemical Hazardous Factors" in the qualitative,semi-quantitative,quantitative and International Mining and Metals Committee(ICMM)methods for risk assessment.4 Health monitoring results verification: comprehensive physical examination results and occupational health file information, the risk assessment results are compared and analyzed.5 Comparison of risk results: Compare and statistically analyze the evaluation results of each method to study the applicability of different methods.Result:1 Site survey resultsThe most important hazards encountered by a paint manufacturer are n-hexane,cyclohexane,benzene,toluene,xylene,ethyl acetate, methyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, styrene, and methyl methacrylate.Ketone, acetic acid,n-butanol.In the emulsification and inspection positions, the in-situ concentration of n-hexane and methyl methacrylate in the toluene, methyl methacrylate, and AC reaction posts exceeded the limit, and the results of other hazard factors were below the limit. The hazard factors exposed to an ethylbenzene production unit are benzene, toluene, xylene and ethylbenzene. The on-site concentration test results are all below the exposure limit.2 Risk assessment resultsQualitative method to assess the risk level of benzene and toluene is extremely high risk, others are low to medium risk;semi-quantitative method to evaluate benzene, toluene, methyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, styrene has a higher risk level, positive Butanol has a lower risk level and is low risk;except for individual positions, cyclohexane and toluene are acceptable risks, and other risks are unacceptable;ICMM matrix method evaluates benzene, toluene and other risk levels.Higher, butyl methacrylate, ethyl acetate,n-butanol risk is lower;ICMM quantitative assessment results are mostly unacceptable risks.3 Comparison of hazard classificationThe hazard grading of each method is quite different. The qualitative and semi-quantitative grading is higher than the ICMM method, and the ICMM grading has subjective bias.4 Health monitoring results verificationThe abnormal rate detected in a paint production enterprise was 2.6%,and the abnormal detection rate in an ethylbenzene production enterprise was 2.3%.The comparison of the methods showed that the quantitativemethod and the ICMM method were the highest risks, and the ICMM matrix method was relatively biased.low.5 Comparison of evaluation resultsThere was a difference between the contact ratio method and the contact index method(P < 0.05).There was no difference between the contact index method and the comprehensive index method(P > 0.05),and the results of the contact ratio method and the comprehensive index method were different(P < 0.05).The Kappa value of qualitative and semi-quantitative comprehensive index method is 0.38,the Kappa value of qualitative method and ICMM matrix method is 0.25,and the Kappa value of semi-quantitative comprehensive index method and ICMM matrix method is 0.61.The qualitative evaluation method, semiquantitative contact index method,semi-quantitative comprehensive index method,ICMM quantitative method results have no significant relationship with E/OEL values(P>0.05),semi-quantitative contact ratio method,ICMM matrix method results and E/OEL values?have Significant relationship(P <0.05).When the E/OEL value is greater than1.Conclusion:1.Qualitative,semi-quantitative,quantitative,and ICMM methods can be used for occupational health risk assessment of chemical hazards in the chemical industry.2.The grading results of hazard factors of each method are different. The grading of ICMM method has uncertainty, and the risk assessment result has a great correlation with hazard grading.3.The lower the concentration of on-site detection, the greater the difference in the evaluation results of each method.4.In general, the semi-quantitative contact index method is more suitable for risk assessment of chemical companies.
