| Objective: To study the effects of olanzapine and aripiprazole on cognitive function of schizophrenia. Methods: Eighty schizophrenic patients admitted to our hospital from June 2016 to June 2017 were selected as the study subjects. The 80 patients with schizophrenia were randomly divided into olanzapine group and aripiprazole group,40 cases in each group. They were treated with olanzapine and aripiprazole respectively for 6 weeks. Before and after treatment,Positive And Negative Symptoms Scale(PANSS),Wechsler Digit Span Test(DS),Wisconsin Card Sorting Test(WCST),Iowa Gambling Task(IGT)and Emotional Intensity Recognition Task(EIRT)were used to assess the psychiatric symptoms and cognitive function of the two groups of schizophrenics. The changes of psychiatric symptoms and cognitive function scores before and after treatment were observed, and the effects of olanzapine and aripiprazole on cognitive function of schizophrenic patients were compared.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in demographic variables between the two groups(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in PANSS score, positive scale score, negative scale score and general pathological scale score between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05).(2)After treatment,PANSS total score, positive scale score, negative scale score and general pathological scale score of two groups of schizophrenia patients were significantly improved compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);after treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in the scores of various psychiatric symptoms(P > 0.05).(3)After treatment, the scores of DS scale of schizophrenia patients in the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05),there was significant difference in the improvement of DS scale between the two groups before and after treatment.(P < 0.05).(4)The total Wisconsin response number and error response number of schizophrenic patients in the olanzapine group after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, with statistical significance(P<0.05);while The number of complete components in the aripiprazole group after treatment was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.05);the number of complete components of schizophrenic patients in the experimental group after treatment was significantly higher than that before treatment, and the difference was uniform(P < 0.05);There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of total response, correct response, wrong response and the number of completed classifications(P > 0.05).(5)There was no significant difference in the scores of each module and the total score of the Iowa gambling task between the two groups before and after treatment(P > 0.05);there was no significant difference in the scores of each module and the improvement of the total score between the two groups(P > 0.05).(6)In the olanzapine group, the recognition rate of happy, fearful, angry and aversive faces after treatment was better than that before treatment, with statistical significance(P < 0.05);in the aripiprazole group, the recognition rate of happy and sad faces after treatment was better than that before treatment, with statistical significance(P < 0.05);There was no significant difference in the improvement of of happy, sad, fearful, angry, aversive and surprise faces between the two groups(P > 0.05).(7)The correct responses and the number of completed classifications in the Wisconsin card classification test were negatively correlated with the PANSS negative scale scores;the wrong responses in the Wisconsin card classification test were positively correlated with the PANSS negative scale scores;and the module 5 in the Iowa gambling task was negatively correlated with the PANSS positive scale scores.Conclusions:(1)Olanzapine and aripiprazole are two antipsychotic drugs which can improve the psychiatric symptoms of psychiatric patients, and their clinical efficacy is basically the same.(2)Schizophrenia patients have different degrees of cognitive impairment, which is manifested in working memory, executive function,decision-making ability and facial emotion recognition.(3)Olanzapine and aripiprazole can improve cognitive impairment in schizophrenic patients.Olanzapine and aripiprazole can improve memory function to a certain extent, and aripiprazole can improve memory function better than aripiprazole;both olanzapine and aripiprazole can improve executive function to a certain extent, while olanzapine can improve memory function more widely;both olanzapine and aripiprazole had no significant improvement in decision-making ability, and the effect between them was basically the same;and the effect of olanzapine and aripiprazole on facial emotion recognition is basically the same.(4)The cognitive function of schizophrenic patients is correlated with their mental symptoms. |
