| Objective: The aim of this study was to establish the referred values of Steiner analysis,Ricketts analysis,Jarabak analysis in Baise adolescents with normal occlusion.Compare the measurements between males and females,and respectively compare the measurements with the other regions in order to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and research.Methods: 80 subjects aged 12-18 years(male31,female49)with normal occlusion were selected from more than 3000 Students in Baise.The lateral cephalograms were taken under the CO position,and the Winceph 8.0 cephalometric software was used to determine the landmarkers and the measurements.Statistics analysis was performed with SPSS 18.0 and Concise Statistics 14.0.The differences in gender and regions were done with t testing.Results:(1)The normal ranges of Steiner analysis,Ricketts analysis,Jarabak analysis of normal occlusion adolescentsin Baise,Guangxi were established.(2)The linear measurement items like SE(mm),CC-N(mm),Go-CF(mm),Xi-Pm(mm),S-N(mm),S-Ar(mm),Ar-Go(mm),Go-Me(mm),S-Go(mm),N-Me(mm),L1-GoGn(mm)have differences in male and femal groups,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Compared with the same gender groups of Jiamusi,the measurements of SNA(°),SNB(°),SND(°)were greater than that of people in Jiamusi,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The measurements of U1-NA(°),U1-NA(mm),OP-SN(°),GoGn-SN(°),SE(mm)were lower than that of people in Jiamusi,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the same sex groups of Shanghai,the measurements of NBa-PtGn,FH-MP,ANS-Xi-Pm,A-NPog shows that male adolescents were lower than that of male adolescents in Shanghai,and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with Shanghai in the same sex,the measurement of PTV-D male adolescents was greater than that of male adolescent in Shanghai.Compared with the same sex group of Shanghai,the measurements of FH-NPog,PTV-D,LL-EP(mm)female adolescents were greater than that of female adolescents in Shanghai,and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the same sex group of Shanghai,the measurements of Nba-PtGn,FH-MP shows that the female adolescents were lower than that of female adolescents in Shanghai,and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the same sex group of Changchun,the measurements of OP-GoGn(°),U1-SN(°),L1-Facial plane(mm),S+Ar+Go(°),N-Me(mm)were lower than that of male adolescents in Changchun,The measurements of U1-L1(°),shows that the male adolescents were lower than that of male adolescents in Changchun,and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).The measurements of S+Ar+Go(°),Ar-Go-N(°),SN-GoGn(°),N-Me(mm)shows that female adolescents was lower than that of female adolescents in Changchun.Conclusion:(1)The referred value of Steiner analysis,Ricketts analysis,Jarabak analysis in Baise adolescents with normal occlusion were established,and the stasitics can be applied to diagnosis and treatment of adolescents with malocclusion.(2)The characteristics of the normal occlusal craniofacial structure of young people in Baise,Guangxi,have gender differences and regional characteristics.The growth of mandible in the normal occlusion of Baise has the trend of counterclockwise rotation,and the area of the male craniofacial region was greater than that of the female. |
