Study On The Influence Of Parenting Style,Coping Style And Suicide Attitude On College Students' Suicidal Ideation

In recent years,the attention of colleges and universities on the mental health of college students has never decreased,suicide among college students is also widespread.The factors that influence college students' suicide mainly are three factors: individual,family,school and social environment.In order to explore the causes of college students' suicidal ideation,this study discusses the mechanism of the formation of suicidal ideation from three aspects: individual,family,school and social environment,three variables of suicide attitude,coping style and parenting style were selected to explore its relationship with suicidal ideation,to provide new ideas for college mental heath service work.A sample of 600 college students were nominated to complete Parental Bonding Instrument,CSQ,QSA and suicidal ideation questionnaire.The results are as follows:1.In parenting style,there is an edge significant in grade level on father encourages,freshmen feel more encouragement from their fathers than sophomores.2.In coping style,students form towns and cities are more likely to take a retreat than students from the countryside;girls are more likely to resort than boys.3.In the attitude of suicide,students in countryside have a relatively negative attitude towards suicide and euthanasia,while they have an understanding attitude towards the family members of the suicides.4.There is a difference in the grade on suicidal ideation,the suicidal ideation of freshmen is higher than sophomores.5.There is a significant correlation among parenting style,coping style,suicide attitude and suicidal ideation.6.Suicide attitude partly mediates the relationship between parenting style and suicidal ideation;coping style partly mediates the relationship between parenting style and suicidal ideation;Suicide attitude partly mediates the relationship between coping style and suicidal ideation.
