Study On The Correlation Between Serum HIF-1?,VEGF,VEGFR And Pulmonary Arterial Systolic Pressure In Tibetan And Han Patients With OSAHS

Objective: To investigate the correlation between serum HIF-1?,VEGF,VEGFR levels and clinical indicators such as pulmonary arterial systolic pressure etc in Tibetan and Han patients with obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)in Qinghai province,and to analyze the differences in adaptability of Tibetan and Han patients to chronic intermittent hypoxia.Methods: 30 Tibetan male and 27 Han male OSAHS patients diagnosed by polysomnography from September 2017 to December 2018 in the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University were collected,and the cases were screened strictly according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.They were divided into 4 groups,including group H: Han living at elevation 1800m~2500m;Group T1: Tibetans living at elevation 1800m~2500m;Group T2: Tibetans living at elevation 2501m~3500m;Group T3: Tibetans living at elevation >3500m.There was no significant difference in apnea-hypopnea index among the four groups.All the subjects took venous blood in the morning of the second day after admission without oxygen inhalation.The concentrations of HIF-1?,VEGF and VEGFR of serum were measured by ELISA.The pulmonary arterial systolic pressure were measured,and to analysis the correlation between HIF-1?,VEGF,VEGFR and clinical indicators.Results: 1.There were no significant differences of HIF-1?,VEGF,VEGFR among Group H and Group T1.(all P>0.05);There were no significant differences of HIF-1?,VEGF,VEGFR among Group T1,Group T2,Group T3.2.The level of HIF-1?,VEGF,VEGFR of Han OSAHS patients was positively correlated with PASP.(r= 0.389,0.756,0.388,all P<0.05);The level of HIF-1?,VEGF,VEGFR of Tibetan OSAHS patients was positively correlated with PASP.(r= 0.465,0.389,0.397,all P<0.05).3.There were no differences in complications in Group H and Group T1 of patients with OSAHS: secondary erythrocytosis,hypertension,pulmonary hypertension,right ventricular hypertrophy,heart failure,and diabetes(P>0.05).There were no differences in complications in Group T1,Group T2,Group T3 of patients with OSAHS: secondary erythrocytosis,hypertension,pulmonary hypertension,right ventricular hypertrophy,heart failure,and diabetes(P>0.05).Conclusions: 1.Tibetans didn't show better adaptability to chronic intermittent hypoxia than Hans.2.The levels of HIF-1?,VEGF and VEGFR in Tibetan and Han OSAHS patients were correlated to PASP.
