Objective:To investigate the expression of Nrf2 and Keap1 in colorectal cancerand they play an important role in the occurrence, development, diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer.Relationships were explored between Nrf2 and Keap1 expression and clinicopathological variables(gender, age, tumor location, pathologic differentiation, histology grade). The correlation between Nrf2 and Keap1 expression was analyzed in colorectal cancer. Methods: 60 patients of colorectal cancer were collected, including 60 cases of colorectal cancer tissues in the experimental group and 60 cases of adjacent tissues in the control group. The expression levels of nrf2 and keap1 were detected in 60 cases of colorectal cancer tissues and adjacent tissues with SP immunohistochemical methods, and relationships were explored between Nrf2 and Keap1 expression and clinicopathological variables. The correlation between Nrf2 and Keap1 expression was analyzed in colorectal cancer.SPSS 19.0statistical software was used to analyze the data.Chi-square test and Sperman Rank Correlation were used in this experiment. Results: In colorectal cancer, the positive rates of Nrf2 and Keap1 were 76.67% and 70.00%respectively.In adjacent tissues, the positive rates of Nrf2 and Keap1 were 31.67% and26.67%.By statistical analysis, the positive rates of Nrf2 and Keap1 in colorectal cancer tissues were significantly higher than those in adjacent tissues(P<0.05).The expression of Nrf2 and Keap1 correlated with histology grade(P<0.05),but not with gender, age, tumor location, pathologic differentiation(P>0.05).The Spearman correlation analysis showed that there was no correlation between the expression of Nrf2 and Keap1 in colorectal cancer(r=0.155,P=0.238).Conclusion: The positive rate of Nrf2 and Keap1 was significantly higher in colorectal cancer tissues than in paired adjacent tissues. The expression of Nrf2 and Keap1 correlated with histology grade. The results suggest that it may play an important role in the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer, and it has certain reference value for clinical treatment and prognosis of colorectal cancer.
