Objectives:To investigate the relationship between Ultrasonic diagnosis of renal crystallization(UDRC)and renal function and related risk factors.Method:Retrospective analysis of clinical data of 1022 in patients with ultrasound diagnosis of renal crystallization in the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from July 2017 to July 2018,excluded 254 cases of incomplete data, and excluded 553 cases that may affect renal function because of diseases or drugs.215 cases were used as the renal crystallization(RC)group. At the same time,178 cases of no crystallization examined by ultrasound in our hospital for physical examination that as the no crystallization(NC)group. Both groups were excluded from hypertension, diabetes, gout, malignant tumors, autoimmune diseases, kidney stones, chronic benign prostatic hyperplasia, and primary kidney disease. The correlation between UDRC and renal function was analyzed, and multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of UDRC formation.Results:1.The positive rate of UDRC in hospitalized patients was 1.48%(1022/69079).2.UDRC mainly distributes cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and malignant tumors, accounting for 29.1%and 11.2%,respectively.3.The eGFR and HDL-L in the RC group were lower than those in the control group. The positive rates of BMI,BUN,Scr,SUA,FPG and urine crystallization were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).4.The incidence of renal crystallization is higher when urine pH<5.5 and urine pH>6.5.5.The proportion of kidney crystallization in the RC group increased with the increase of uric acid level.6.The RC component was divided into two subgroups of eGFR?90 and eGFR<90.The eGFR<90 subgroup was older, with higher BUN and SUA levels(P<0.01).7.UDRC was positively correlated with BMI,BUN,SUA,Scr,FPG,urinary crystallization, and urine pH values(P<0.05,r values were 0.140,0.121,0.322,0.122,0.396,0.318,0.325,respectively).UDRC was negatively correlated with eGFR and HDL-L(P<0.01,r values were-0.174,-0.205,respectively).8.BUN,SUA,FPG and urine pH range were independent risk factors for renal crystallization(P<0.05,OR values were 1.266,1.008,5.995,2.460,respectively).Conclusions:1.The positive rate of UDRC in hospitalized patients was 1.48%.2.UDRC mainly distributes cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and malignant tumors.3.UDRC is dominated by middle-aged and older men.4.UDRC may cause renal dysfunction.5.As the level of uric acid increases, the incidence of kidney crystallization increases.6.The risk factors for UDRC are high urea nitrogen, high uric acid and high plasmaglucose.7.Urine pH is one of the risk factors for UDRC.Therefore,Urine pH should be monitored in high-risk populations who have high urea nitrogen, high uric acid and high fasting plasma glucose.8.Age,high urea nitrogen and high uric acid are one of the synergistic factors for the decline of renal function in patients with UDRC.
