Objective: To prove the effectiveness and feasibility of one-step posterior reduction and occipitocervical fixation in the treatment of patients with skull base depression and atlantoaxial dislocation, and to analyze the risk factors and prognostic factors of neurological impairment in patients with BI and AAD,so as to provide reference data for better understanding and treatment of such diseases. Methods: A prospective analysis of BI patients with AAD who underwent surgery in our department from 2017 to 2019 was conducted. The JOA score of Japanese Orthopaedic Association was calculated before and after operation. The vertical distance(CL)and atlanto-odontoid distance(ADI)of odontoid process exceeding Chamberlain line were measured by SPSS software.Result:JOA score,ADI,ML,WL and CM before and after operation all changed, which had statistical significance. Conclusion: Posterior one-step reduction and occipitocervical fixation is safe and feasible in clinical practice, and the curative effect is worth affirming. |
