Objective:The aim of this study was to evaluate the value of MRI IVIM-DWI in the patients with HCC after RFA treatment and the clinical value of IVIM-DWI in identifying tumor necrosis and residual tissues of HCC after RFA.Materials and Methods:Based on the clinical and pathological diagnosis criteria of HCC,from August 2015 to December 2016,28 cases who were diagnosed as HCC and treated with RFA in our hospital were selected.At the time of a week before RFA,one month after RFA,three month after RFA and six month after RFA.Common MRI sequences were performed including T1WI,T2WI,DCE-MRIDWI.In addition,MRI IVIM-DWI sequences were also used.The value of mean D,D*and f were measured and all of the data were divided into seven groups:Group IA:HCC tissue before RFA,Group IIA:necrosis tissue after RFA;Group IB:HCC tissue before RFA,Group IIB:residual tissue after RFA;Group III:HCC tissue before RFA,Group IVA:necrosis tissue of three month after RFA,Group IVB:necrosis tissue of six month after RFA.The data was analyzed by the Microsoft SPSS 20.0.Results:The value of mean D,D*and f in Group IA and IIA were?1.13±0.19?×10-3mm2/s vs?1.63±0.31?×10-3mm2/s,?41.75±12.53?×10-3mm2/s vs?30.55±7.87?×10-3mm2/s and?30.34±12.80?%vs?19.40±7.89?%,respectively;The value of mean D,D*and f in Group IB and IIB were?1.28±0.19?×10-3mm2/s vs?1.31±0.16?×10-3mm2/s,?43.78±14.80?×10-3mm2/s vs?42.25±16.81?×10-3mm2/s and?24.43±10.76?%vs?23.33±7.34?%,respectively;The value of mean D,D*and f in Group III were?1.10±0.21?×10-3mm2/s,?40.76±12.61?×10-3mm2/s and?30.02±11.62?%;The value of mean D,D*and f in Group IVA were?1.62±0.35?×10-3mm2/s,?30.13±6.22?×10-3mm2/s,?18.74±8.52?%;The value of mean D,D*and f in Group IVB were?1.71±0.26?×10-3mm2/s,?27.28±7.69?×10-3mm2/s and?16.59±7.69?%.The differences of mean D value,D*value and f value had statistical significance between group IA and group IIA?P<0.01?;the differences of mean D value of group IIA and group IIB had statistical significance?P<0.01?;the differences of values of mean D,D*,and f had statistical significance in group III and group IVA,and there were statistically significant differences in group III and group IVB?P<0.01?.The AUC of ROC was 0.826,which showed that D value can be used to identify residual tissues.Conclusions:1.IVIM-DWI has excellent prospect on identifying the necrosis and residual tissues in HCC after RFA.Therefore,it can be used to assess the curative effects of RFA in HCC.2.D value played an important role on the evaluation of the curative effects of RFA in HCC.
