Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Primary Hemifacial Spasm With The Acupuncture Method Of Regulating The Spirit And Dispersing The Stagnated Liver-qi Acupuncture

Objective To observe the clinical effect of regulating the spirit and dispersing the stagnated liver-qi acupuncture on primary hemifacial spasm through clinical research,so as to provide better ideas and methods for clinical treatment of primary hemifacial spasm.Methods 60 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to the random number table method,30 cases in each group,in which the control group adopted the routine acupuncture method.The points were as follows: spasm of orbicularis oculi muscle: Cuanzhu(BL2),Yuyao(EX-HN4),Chengqi(ST1),Tongziliao(GB1),Yifeng(TE17);spasm of buccal and buccal angle muscle: A shi point,Quanliao(SI18),Yingxiang(LI20),Dicang(ST4),Jiache(ST6),Yifeng(TE17).In the treatment group,the acupuncture method of regulating the spirit and dispersing the stagnated liver-qi was used,and Shenting(GV24),bilateral Benshen(GB13),Hegu(LI4)and Taichong(LR3)were added on the basis of acupoints selected in the control group.The Cohen spasm intensity,Penn spasm frequency and total effective rate of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.The mental and psychological conditions of the two groups were evaluated by Hamilton anxiety score(HAMA)and Beck depression inventory(BDI),and the treatment effect of the two groups was statistically analyzed.Result: 1.After two courses of treatment,according to Cohen’s spasticity intensity and Penn’s spasticity frequency,the spasticity intensity and frequency of the two groups were significantly improved after treatment(p < 0.05).2.After two courses of treatment,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving the spasticity intensity and frequency(p < 0.05).3.By comparing the scores of anxiety and depression scale in the two groups before and after treatment,the mental and psychological state of the two groups were significantly improved(p < 0.05)4.After two courses of treatment,by comparing the scores of anxiety and depression scale between the two groups,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving mental and psychological state(p < 0.05)5.The effective rate of the two groups was 90% in the treatment group and 80% in the control group,respectively.Through statistical analysis,p < 0.05,there was a difference between the two groups,indicating that the treatment effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.Conclusion 1.Both regulating the spirit and dispersing the stagnated liver-qi acupuncture and routine acupuncture can obviously improve the intensity,frequency and mental state of spasm;2.The acupuncture method of regulating the spirit and dispersing the stagnated liver-qi is superior to the routine acupuncture group in improving the spasm intensity and frequency;3.The acupuncture method of regulating the spirit and dispersing the stagnated liver-qi is better than the routine acupuncture group in improving the mental state of patients;4.The therapeutic effect of regulating the spirit and dispersing the stagnated liver-qi acupuncture on primary facial spasm was better than that of routine acupuncture.
