Objective:Using data mining techniques and statistical methods, this paper studied and analyzed the law of acupuncture point selection and the law of traditional Chinese medicine use in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis by professor CAI shengchao,a famous traditional Chinese medicine doctor, and summarized his academic experience in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis with acupuncture and medicine. Methods:After sorting out and summarizing 300 medical records of professor CAI shengchao’s treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, the selected qualified case information was recorded in the designed Excel sheet, and then the medical case data collection section of "ancient and modern medical case cloud platform software" was imported in batches.Using "ancient and modern medical case cloud platform software" to study the frequency of acupoints, the frequency of traditional Chinese medicine, the four qi,five tastes and the meridian information of traditional Chinese medicine;Research on acupuncture and moxibustion prescription,Chinese medicine prescription compatibility relations, the acupuncture point, the medicine and staging the relationship with the Chinese medicine, acupuncture point; The Gephi software is used to draw complex network graph,to visualize the data, and to discover the core prescription. This paper summarizes the rules of acupuncture and moxibustion points selection and traditional Chinese medicine use in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis by professor CAI shengchao.Results:1.According to the medical records of 300 patients with peripheral facial paralysis, there were 152 females and 148 males, and the ratio of male to female was 1:1.03.In terms of age,the age ranged from 14 years old to 90 years old, with an average of48.80±18.85 years old.In terms of the course of disease, the patients were all over the stages, among which the acute stage had the largest number of patients,157(52.33%).In terms of the distribution of facial paralysis syndrome, there were 168 cases of wind-cold attacking collateral-collateral syndrome,74 cases of wind-heat attacking collateral-collateral syndrome,38 cases of phlegm and blood stasis syndrome, and 20 cases of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.2.Medication rules: 101 Chinese medicines were used in the treatment of patients with peripheral facial paralysis. The drugs of great cold and great heat in the four qi were seldom used, and the drugs of plain, warm and cold were more used.According to the analysis of five tastes, the numbness and sweetness drugs were the most. The most drugs were liver, lung, spleen and stomach. From the perspective of drug efficacy, mainly to dispel the wind and collaterals, and to clear heat, phlegm, tonic. The core drugs of professor CAI for the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis are: scorpion, rigid silkworm, preparation of white aconite, ligusticum chuanxiong, earthworm, astragalus astragalus, angelica sinensis, horsetail, fangfeng, centipede, poria cocos, atractylodes, licorice root.In terms of syndrome differentiation and treatment, drugs are added and reduced according to different syndrome types, with zhizheng powder as the main prescription, guizhi decoction for wind-chill attacking collaterals, gentiana decoction for wind-heat attacking collaterals, shuanghe soup for phlegm and blood stasis blocking collaterals, and yangrenwu soup for qi-deficiency and blood-stasis.In the acute stage of treatment by stages, most of the commonly used traditional Chinese medicines are used for dispelling wind, clearing away heat in the static stage. In the recovery stage and sequelae stage, most of them are used for dispelling wind and clearing up collaterals,dampness-removing phlegm, and tonifying qi and promoting blood circulation. There were 5 pairs of commonly used drugs, respectively: rehmannia rehmanniae and scutellaria baicalensis root;Pinellia, caulis spatholobi;Forsythia, golden Chinese abstract 2 honeysuckle;Ginger, jujube;White aconite, rigid silkworm.3.Rule of acupoint selection: the acupuncture prescription for patients with peripheral facial paralysis involves a total of 45 points. The analysis of high-frequency acupoints shows that acupoint selection mainly involves facial acupoints.Under the guidance of syndrome differentiation, acupoints were added and subtracted with syndromes, and most of the matching acupoints were located at the distal end.Under the guidance of the idea of treatment by stages, the treatment in the acute stage is mainly the remote acupoint selection. The static period and the recovery period mainly focus on the facial acupoint selection, and make good use of the penetration method;Sequelae phase to pay attention to puibushui zhengqi, facial acupuncture method can be used to use the method of giant acupuncture, acupuncture side acupoints to promote the affected side meridian qi operation, promote facial nerve recovery.Conclusion:1.Professor CAI shengchao attaches importance to wind-dispelling and collateral-clearing drugs in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis;Good medicine right; The main prescription is zhuzhengsan, which focuses on the treatment based on syndrome differentiation. With the syndrome,it is used to dissolve cold, clear heat, remove blood stasis and remove phlegm, replenish qi and promote blood circulation.Pay attention to the treatment by stages, pay attention to the changes of good and evil, adjust the use of medicine.2.In the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, professor CAI shengchao attaches great importance to the treatment of acupuncture points based on syndrome differentiation. The acupuncture points on the face are mainly used to dispel wind, clear collaterals and disperse evil spirits.Pay attention to the treatment by stages, according to the different adjustment of acupuncture points and acupuncture techniques.
