As a treasure of Chinese culture,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)excavates valuable medical diagnosis and treatment experience and characteristics from ancient books,which can be combined with modern treatment methods to better inherit TCM culture and promote TCM thought.TCM has a good effect in treating chronic diseases and intractable diseases,and has very rich experience in treating insomnia.It is favored by patients with insomnia for its mild treatment method and Chinese medicine with lower side effects.It is helpful to summarize the unique thoughts and methods of diagnosis and treatment of insomnia in TCM by using data mining and other advanced technologies to learn and summarize the treatment of insomnia in TCM and its medication rules.Further promote the level of modern Chinese medicine clinical diagnosis and treatment,and promote the development of Chinese medicine knowledge and diagnosis and treatment thought.At present,the excavation of insomnia medication is mostly focused on the study of incompatibility of insomnia prescriptions,and less research on the relationship between syndrome types and drugs.In this study,the insomnia prescription data and medical case data summarized and sorted out were processed individually according to the needs of different algorithms.According to the characteristics of TCM data and the problems existing in the mining process,the individual algorithms are optimized and improved.Using the improved Apriori algorithm and Relim algorithm to mine the compatibility relationship of insomnia prescriptions,using k-medoids clustering and agglomeration hierarchical clustering to mine drug attribute characteristics,using Bayesian networks to mine the drug relationships corresponding to different syndrome types,and probability relationship between drugs under the type,in order to find the potential drug compatibility rules corresponding to the type.First,the statistical analysis of the frequency of drug use,the frequency of meridian menstruation,and the frequency of its effects,to deduce the direction and characteristics of TCM for insomnia as a whole.Secondly,based on the data of complex TCM prescriptions,the Apriori algorithm was improved according to the characteristics of the data.In order to reduce the repeated scanning of the database,reduce the generation of a large number of candidate sets,and reduce the algorithm’s operating burden,the pruning step of the original algorithm was improved.The improved Apriori algorithm and Relim algorithm are used to mine insomnia prescription data to find the compatibility of the drugs,and the performance of the two algorithms is compared from multiple angles.The results show that both association rules algorithms can effectively mine the core drug pair and drug group of insomnia.Compared with the original algorithm,the improved Apriori algorithm has greatly improved the time utilization and space utilization,and the efficiency is similar to that of the Relim algorithm.Third,the PCA dimension reduction operation is performed on the drug attribute data that becomes sparse after the one-hot encoding.Then use the elbow method to calculate the dimensionality-reduced data to obtain the optimal number of k-medoids clusters that need to be determined in advance.To excavate the potential relationship between drug properties and the possible new combination of drugs by using k-medoids clustering and hierarchical clustering analysis the attributes of the drugs.The results show that both clusters brought together drugs with a great similarity in four natures,five flavors,meridian tropism and efficacy,and produced new drug combinations.Finally,the Bayesian network was used to mine and analyze the uncertain relationship between syndrome types and the drug.The results show that the Bayesian network can effectively screen the core drugs corresponding to different types of syndromes,and can further explore the potential compatibility rules between drugs by the conditional probability between drugs.What’s more,it embodies the characteristic diagnosis and treatment method of TCM syndrome differentiation,which provides support for the inheritance and further development of TCM.
