Research On Xu Runsan And His Disciple Wang Qing In The Treatment Of PCOS Syndromes And Medication Rules Based On Data Mining

Objective:This data mining research was designed to analyze the TCM syndrome types and drug laws of Professor Xu and Professor Wang in the treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome(PCOS).By comparing the similarities and differences in the distribution of TCM syndrome types and drug laws in the treatment of PCOS between the two professors,this paper summarizes the academic thoughts and characteristics of Professor Xu's treatment of PCOS and attempts to explore the possibility of inheritance,continuity and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:A retrospective study was conducted to collect the effective PCOS prescriptions of Professor Xu's outpatient department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Gynecology in China-Japan Friendship Hospital from January 2012 to December 2019 and that of Professor Wang's outpatient department from January 2014 to December 2019.Data were input by the TCM Inheritance Support System(V2.5),and frequency statistics,association rules,entropy clustering and other methods were used to conduct statistical analysis on TCM syndrome types,high-frequency drugs,four properties,five tastes,channel tropism,prescription rules,potential new prescriptions,and prescription rules of different TCM syndrome types.Results:1.Professor Xu's TCM syndrome types for PCOS were mainly kidney deficiency and liver stagnation,followed by kidney Yang deficiency and failure,spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness,qi stagnation and blood stasis,spleen and stomach disharmony,liver stagnation and spleen deficiency,qi deficiency and blood stasis,Yin deficiency and blood heat and blood stasis.2.Professor Xu's general laws of medication for PCOS are as follows.The medicines were mainly warm,spicy,bitter and sweet,and meridian attributable mainly to the liver,spleen and kidney.High-frequency drugs are angelica,cymbidium,motherwort,bupleurum,white peony root,ziheche,dodder,broken,etc.It is mainly used to remedy deficiency,activate blood and remove blood stasis,and regulate qi.The modes of medication include:motherwort-rhizome,angelica-bupleurum,ziheche-angelica-bupleurum,etc.The core prescription is composed of bupleurum chinensis,angelica sinensis,radix paeoniae alba,ziheche,rhizoma leonurus.And finally we got two potential new prescriptions.One is composed of cooked rehmannia rehmannii,continuous fracture,ziheche,herba epimedii,ligusticum chuanxiong,radix paeoniae alba and the other of radix pseudostellariae,orange leaf,sand kernel,malt.3.The common syndrome types and core prescriptions of Professor Xu's treatment of PCOS are as follows.(1)syndrome of kidney deficiency and liver depression:bupleurum chinensis,angelica sinensis,radix paeoniae alba cornus officinalis,purple river cart,rhizoma leonuri;(2)deficiency and decline of kidney Yang syndrome:fairy grass,herba epimedii,broken,cuscuta,chaihu,angelica,white peony root,ziheche,ripe rehmannia rehmannii,caulis spatholbiae,herb,motherwort;(3)spleen deficiency phlegm and dampness:atractylodes atractylodes,rhizome,rhizoma aurantii,rhizoma aurantii,atractylodes,angelica sinensis,ligusticum chuanxiong,leonurus.4.Professor Wang's TCM syndrome types for PCOS were mainly kidney deficiency,liver stagnation,phlegm and dampness,followed by kidney deficiency,liver stagnation and fire,kidney Yang deficiency and failure,kidney deficiency and dampness,blood stasis,kidney deficiency and blood stasis,and liver and kidney deficiency.5.Professor Wang's general laws of medication for PCOS are as follows.The medicines were mainly warm,bitter,spicy and sweet,and meridian attributable mainly to the liver,spleen and kidney.High-frequency drugs are angelica,cuscuta seed,bupleurum chinensis,motherwort,salvia miltiorrhiza,white peony root,herba epimedii,cymbidium officinalis,acorus calamus,qiang,etc.It is mainly used to remedy deficiency,invigorate blood circulation and remove blood stasis,and to relieve superficial drugs.The modes of medication include angelica-Chai hu,dodder-angelica,salvia miltiorrhiza-angelica,etc.The core prescription was composed of radix bupleuri,angelica sinensis,radix paeoniae alba,herba epimedii,dodder,salvia miltiorrhiza,leonurus.And finally we got one potential new prescription,which was composed of recipe bupleurum chinensis,red peony root,white peony root,achyranthes achyranthes,Chinese termites.6.The common syndrome types and core prescriptions of Professor Wang's treatment of PCOS are as follows.(1)kidney deficiency,liver depression,phlegm and dampness:bupleurum,angelica,radix paeoniae alba,dodder,calamus,atractylodes,rhizoma leonurus;Kidney deficiency and liver depression syndrome:chaihu,angelica,white peony,dodder,herba epimedii,salvia miltiorrhiza,qiang live;(3)liver yu hua fire syndrome:peony skin,gardenia,bupleurum,angelica,white peony root,dodder seed,salvia miltiorrhiza,lotus leaves,incense,motherwort;(4)kidney Yang deficiency and failure syndrome:herba sinensis,herba epimedii,morinda officinalis,phellodendron,angelica,salviae miltiorrhiza,qiang live,motherwort.Conclusion:Professor Xu's TCM syndrome types in the treatment of PCOS are mainly kidney deficiency and liver depression,which can be subdivided into two syndrome types:kidney essence deficiency and liver depression and kidney Yang deficiency and liver depression.The medicines were mainly warm,spicy,bitter and sweet.It is mainly used to remedy deficiency,activate blood and remove blood stasis,and regulate qi.The medication pattern and the legislation of the core prescription reflect that Professor Xu's understanding of the pathogenesis of PCOS is based on kidney deficiency and liver depression.Professor Wang has both inherited and developed Professor Xu's academic thought of treating PCOS.Its inheritance is reflected in the following aspects.The four properties,five tastes and channel tropism of drugs and the efficacy classification of high-frequency drugs are basically consistent with that of Professor Xu.The medication mode and the legislation of core prescription are all carried out around the basic pathogenesis of kidney deficiency and liver depression.Its development is reflected in the following aspects.In terms of pathogenesis,"phlegm" and "fire" are emphasized,and in terms of treatment,"promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis" and "reducing phlegm and clearing damp" are emphasized.TCM syndrome types are mainly kidney deficiency and liver depression,but subdivided into four syndromes:kidney deficiency and liver depression and phlegm dampness syndrome,kidney essence deficiency and liver depression syndrome,kidney deficiency and liver depression and fire syndrome and kidney Yang deficiency and liver depression syndrome.In terms of medication rules,the proportion of cold drugs,bitter drugs and drugs of channel tropism of stomache increased.The frequency of use of heat-clearing drugs,dampness-removing drugs and orifical drugs increased.Compared with Professor Xu,the medicine strengthened the power of clearing heat and resolving phlegm.
